The thing I don’t really like about agere tumblr is that it feels very much like a holier than thou type attitude. Everyone always says “your regression is valid!” Until you have sexual thoughts and urges. I don’t even want to have those urges sometimes but it’s just how the trauma affected me. My agere is not primarily sexual but age play is still a kink i participate in as a consenting adult. I use both agere and age play to cope with life, illness, dysphoria, and trauma. My personal preferences in the bedroom shouldn’t be demonized or looked down upon any more than any other thing a consenting person decides to do. Just my two cents. Ignore me rambling I just need a place to vent.

I'm personally not a huge fan of the existing agere flags just due to how like ... nonspecific a lot of them are, I wanted something far more general and defined that wasn't stuff like "childhood innocence" or wtvr ykwim!! Something that included all regressors (or as many as I could fit in .-.) without also, like, defining others out of it.

I put "boyre/girlre/enbyre" instead of "boy regressors" "girl regressors" "enby regressors" etc because boyre/etc is more general - sometimes a regressor ISN'T a boy but they do participate in boyre, yknow?

Ik including age incongruancy/dysphoria and dualcom is gonna piss some people off but I also feel its important because. age regression can be for anyone not just the regressors that are "ok" with most. And as a dualcom age dysphoric regressor I'm sick of not being included so <3
