its been 3 years

i never really knew you but i wanted to. even in hindsight i wish i had become friends with you even knowing the pain it wouldve caused in the end. everyone says nice things after it happens but i guess it doesnt really fix anything. i just can't believe its been 3 years already. everytime someone talks about trial exams i think about you. all of the progress thats happened since, and the milestones ive seen our mutual friends pass, i think youd be proud. everyone said u were a comedian, i never really knew that side but i wish i had. i think sometimes that maybe if i had drawn that smiley face on ur coffee cup maybe thatd have been enough for another week, another chance for something to go right. grief counsellors told us there was nothing we couldve done by the time you were at that point.
