Cryptid of the Day: The Thing of St. Lucia
Description: One summer night in 1993, Anse Chastanet took a dive in Soufriere, St. Lucia, when they saw a worm the size of a moray eel. Dubbed simply as “the Thing”, the worm swam off into a near by reef. Some say that the thing is an unknown species of rock worm, while others say it was a misidentified oarfish.

To the werewolf that keeps coming in and asking about enchanted condoms: We Don’t Have Any Please Stop Asking I’m Too Ace For This.
You’re just gonna have to find a witch or be willing to go to the fae and steal from the party favor bowl at their orgies (which I do not recommend going to because you will leave with a Part that’s not yours glued to your ass)

Clown PSA
I didn’t want to have to say this but No Clowns Allowed In the Store. If you’re Down to Clown get out.
The new list of prohibited entities in the store are the Fae, door-to-door salesmen, and Clowns. While they are all supernatural entities, we Cannot Trust Them.
Yes a clown came in and pulled a chain of handkerchiefs out of his sleeve. Yes his arm was tied at the end. Yes he left his arm on the front counter. Yes the attendant swallowed it and left the kerchief chain hanging out of their cloud mouth. No I am not taking questions at this time.

The Altamaha-ha (also known as the Altie) is a legendary river monster that allegedly inhabits the rice fields and streams in southeastern Georgia. Most sightings are reported around Darien, and McIntosh County. The tale of the sea monster is rumored to have originated with the Lower Muscogee Creek Tribe.
According to Legends of America, “This strange cryptid is described as having a sturgeon like body including a bony ridge on its top. With front flippers and no back limbs, it swims like a dolphin, and has the snout of a crocodile, with large, protruding eyes and large sharp teeth. Its coloring is said to be gray or green with a whitish-yellow underbelly. Reports indicate that it is 20-30 feet long, though some have stated seeing smaller or larger creatures, suggesting that Altamaha-ha is not alone,”
The statue (as shown in the picture) can be found at the Darien-McIntosh Regional Visitor Information Center.

Cryptid
: an animal (such as Sasquatch or the Loch Ness Monster) that has been claimed to exist but never proven to exist
Contrary to popular belief, cryptids don't have to be supernatural, mythical or even all that strange—though many popular creatures acquire these characteristics as their legends grow.
— Hayley Williams
… fighting the Grafton Monster—a monstrous cryptid vaguely resembling a cross between Bigfoot and a seal …
— Alan Olson
