but basically there was this one post about which td character is the most "spoiled" and Heather was there (which she's literally NOT, bratty? entitled? yes sure, but not spoiled)

and someone said something along the lines of "Heather now has Al to keep her in check"

first of all, that's an icky and borderline misogynistic thing to say about a female character? that she needs a man to "keep her in check"..? like I can't even explain how much that wording personally icks me....? but I hope you guys understand my point

besides. of all the characters you pick. YOU PICK ALEJANDRO??? that's her number #1 defender,supporter and enabler!

like you think he would try and keep her contained? change her? hell no,she could yell at someone over some stupid stuff and he'd be like with heart eyes thinking about how he's gonna marry her

like considering his reaction to José calling her personality unattractive imagine how angry he'd be at someone who actually hurt her

what are your head canons for an Aleheather wedding?

wrote it in the other post but I think she's the one proposing, to be fair though They have kinda this unspoken rivalry about it because he was also planning to propose and she just kinda beats him to it. lol

she pretends the only reason she's marrying him is because "it's convenient" though everyone knows it's absolutely bullshit

they initially want just a "close friends" wedding but they end up doing a bigger one because they....want to show off mostly

I don't know why but I always imagine that Heather wears a big gorgeous black dress and Alejandro a fancy white suit with golden accents (they could also both wear dresses though)

Harold as a maid of honor, I'm sorry it just makes sense to me

her vows are in Spanish because she didn't want most people here to understand what she was saying, she only wanted him to know (though of course his family + Courtney did understand) but she also did it because she thought it was sweet, but you never will see her admitting that

hers aren't the most romantic ones,his of course are over the top, about how he wouldn't change her for anything in the world and how she's perfect the way she is

(mostly to spite her parents watching,which they also invited out of spite)

"you are stuck with me" "I would not have it any other way"

they probably had to stop the wedding halfway through her vows because Alejandro got emotional

she was also this close 👌to crying but she keeps it together till the very end because she's not about to break down in front of the whole gen 1 cast,his family,her family and some of their coworkers

she gets more emotional about it when they are alone though

the audience is disturbed but also somehow found the whole thing heartwarming?

they have a big reception,but they end up leaving early because Heather was tired

dunno what else but they love each other a lot

hmm, so I do have an AU in which they have children (they are child free usually in my mind, and I love the whole Chase is the Aleheather kid because it's too funny lol)

I don't think they would be surprised when they find out, mostly bc I think they would have MANY conversations about it,it wouldn't be an accident at all

but I think they would very happy about it, but also ANXIOUS especially about potentially messing the kid up like their parents did, I don't think neither of them thought they'd be good parents but they end up doing just fine (although not without making some mistakes of course)

Anyway Aleheather headcanons...

As two spoilt rich kids they both grew up playing super posh sports like golf and badminton. After Total Drama they channel their pent up competitiveness into doubles tournaments. They got banned from one golf course after they got into a physical fight because Alejandro lost count of their scores and they couldn't agree on who was ahead.

Leshawna and Heather are best friends so they do double dates with Leshawna and Harold. It turns into a date for Leshawna and Heather while Harold and Alejandro try to make awkward conversation.

They are disinvited to group video game and board game nights because they take it way too seriously.

Alejandro loves PDA but Heather can’t stand it. They totally walk around arm in arm, especially at formal events so they can gossip about everyone. 

People assume that Heather thinks it’s hot when Alejandro speaks Spanish, actually she just thinks it’s cute because he is more inclined to speak Spanish when he’s shocked or not really focused. She would also definitely pick up a good bit of Spanish, she can understand what he’s saying but can’t speak it at all. Alejandro doesn’t know how much she can actually understand so when they’re fighting she laughs at him muttering about her under his breath.

The only person who knows that Heather likes horror movies is Alejandro. He hates them though but is happy enough to just fall asleep on her lap while she stays up late binging Saw.

They both become quite reserved and withdrawn after Total drama (I think being on the show would kind of fuck up all the contestants social skills and give them trust issues). Once they move in together they are total homebodies and spend every second together. Anytime has to go to a meeting or something Alejandro counts down the minutes until she comes home.

the double tournaments are so goood,I love how they also got banned from it,because they are idiots

LESHAWNA AND HEATHER BESTIES SO TRUE,it'd be also funny if Heather talked to Harold while Leshawna glared at Alejandro the whole time (I also think Harold doesn't like Alejandro,so double awkwardness)

and they'd be disinvitend from most group activities, get too competive

her learning Spanish because of him is one of my faves, her doing it secretly so he doesn't know she understands him when he mutters in Spanish is really funny

also I think he'd hate horror movies too, would find them too gorey and crude for his liking but he'd still would try to watch it with her,or just sleep as she rewatches saw for the 100th time

I can totally see most of the cast developing some trust issues after the show, and I can see them preferring to stay home they would totally be attached to the hip, him counting the seconds till shes home is the sweetest thing ever he would always welcome her back home with the biggest smile on his face

what do we think are aleheather’s jobs as adults?

for Alejandro I love seeing him as an actor, he clearly is very skilled at acting but I also think it'd be a good creative outlet and he'd definitely enjoy the fame. a lot. (I don't know why but Alejandro gives closeted theater kid vibes)

I'm not that sure for Heather, maybe a manager? since she's a skilled leader, I think she'd like that type of control

but I also like her being a model and I read a fanfiction once in which she was a streamer, which I absolutely love lol so I hc that as her hobby

she could also work well as an actor alongside Alejandro though

I think they'd would like those big fancy places in which you can see the view outside,expensive dinners

in my personal headcanon i think it's Heather who proposes, mostly because I find it sweet considering Alejandro was the one confessing to her (two times i might add) so it'd be a good character development moment for her to take the next big step in their relationship

but! if Alejandro were to do it

I think he would probably start considering proposing even in the first years of their relationship

but I feel like whenever the topic came out it was obvious she wasn't really sure, so he just kind of kept it in the back of his brain when eventually he noticed she was starting to come around (read: she found out Marriage has tax benefits/hj) he started to do some serious planning

I think he'd do his best to keep it a secret and she'd initially be obvious to it,till she can't deny he's being especially sketchy for some reason (bonus points if she's totally wrong about her guesses on why)

he'd check with her friends to make sure she isn't suspecting anything, he probably wouldn't have issues with finding out her ring size since he probably bought her an hundred rings and jewelry before, let's be real the ring would be *expensive*

as to where? It'd be nice if it was maybe a garden they went to when they first started dating filled with her favorite flowers after a nice dinner

okay no jk, I think together they really like dancing (Heather being a ballerina is just perfect) usually at home with some romantic slow music, but I do think they prob like going on Professional competitions every once in a while

but I also think those two would like to do almost anything together lol
