Harmony and Rainbow Dash were like day and night.

Harmony was organized to the point of obsession. Every item in her room had its place, every piece of clothing was folded with precision, and every decorative object was strategically placed.

Rainbow Dash, on the other hand, was a walking disaster.

Her room looked like a war zone, with clothes scattered everywhere, empty soda bottles on the desk, and her bed rarely made. Her turtle, Tank, preferred any other corner of the apartment over his own room.

"Look at him," Harmony said one day, crossing her arms as she watched Tank curled up in a corner of the living room.

"Even your own pet abandoned you, Dash. That says a lot."

Rainbow Dash, lounging on the couch with a bag of chips in her hand, shrugged.

"He's free to do whatever he wants."

"No, what he wants is to escape the disaster you live in."

"You're exaggerating," Dash replied with a smug smile.

"My room is just... a little chaotic."

"Dash, last night you found your toothbrush in the sock drawer."

"Oh! So that's where it was." Dash snapped her fingers.

"I was looking for it."

Harmony let out a deep sigh.

Sure, she had no problem with her friend doing whatever she wanted in her own room, but when the chaos spread to the rest of the apartment, that was another issue.

Because in the end, she was the one who ended up cleaning everything.

And the noise.

God, the noise.

Rainbow Dash seemed to have a personal vendetta against peace and quiet.

Whether it was blasting her electric guitar at full volume or playing music so loud that the windows shook, she completely ignored the existence of headphones.

"I don’t understand why headphones even exist if you’re not going to use them," Harmony grumbled one night, walking into the living room with a sour expression.

Rainbow Dash, guitar in hand, looked at her with a mischievous smile.

"Because the world deserves to hear my talent."

"Not when I’m trying to sleep."

"Come on, Harm." Dash stood up and threw an arm around her friend's shoulders.

"You should be grateful that I live with you. Not only do I provide entertainment, but I also do the grocery shopping."

Harmony raised a skeptical eyebrow.

"Only because you take the opportunity to buy junk food."

"Well, yeah. But I still bring the things you need."

Harmony shook her head in resignation.

If only she hadn’t been in love with Rainbow Dash since kindergarten, she probably would have kicked her out of the apartment a long time ago.

But here she was, putting up with the mess, the noise, and the madness—all because her heart refused to let her go.
