Wow isn’t it great that accessing medical care is a degrading and humiliating performance of where you must act out acceptable amounts of misery based on the doctors perception of you so that you get taken seriously but not too much because then the doctor will decide you’re hysterical and untrustworthy about your own experience? Isn’t it great they may decide you’re hysterical and untrustworthy no matter what you do based on their own personal biases about people who look like you or people with the condition they’ve already decided you have? Isn’t it great that medical care is a privilege provided only to those with the means to pay for it and even then if you aren’t the right kind of person with money your care will be terrible due to the personal prejudices and biases of medical professionals? Wow I feel so lucky that free market health care has allowed me to pay a fortune to be humiliated and ignored by a doctor who’s only real job is stick to the script that makes their bosses the most money.
