Sims In Bloom: A Sims 4 Legacy Challenge ☆゚*・。*・
Please let me know if you find any problems with the challenge (I’m currently play testing it myself) or if you find a part that is too similar to yours/someone else’s (I’m aware there are quite a few flower based challenges out there but I tried to make mine as unique as possible).
( Base game version )
( Sims 3 version by @capygarden )
( Graphic version by @candlelightsimmer | Graphic version by @kimbasprite)
General rules
For each generation complete the designated aspiration, career, and skills.
Asterisk * marked points are optional, you can choose to complete these to make the challenge more difficult.
There are two colours associated with every generation. Use these for genetics (berry/banilla), or just clothes and house decor if you wish.
Start each new generation with a small house/apartment and 1000 simoloeons. If you want to make the challenge harder, you can start each generation on an empty lot with 0 simoleons (rags to riches style!)
Play on any lifespan you wish (short is not recommended).
If you decide to play this challenge @ me or use the tag #sib or #SimsInBloom if you want me to see!
This challenge requires:
Expansion packs - City Living, Get Together, Get to Work, Cats and Dogs, Seasons, Get Famous, Island Living, Eco Lifestyle, Discover University, Snowy Escape, Cottage Living
Game packs - Spa Day, Dine Out, Vampires, Outdoor Retreat, Parenthood, Realm of Magic

Gardening has always been your passion. Owning a large, healthy garden is all you’ve ever wanted in life, even if your nails constantly have soil under them and you have so many broken pots you’ve lost count. Your happy place is meditating in the shade of the fruit trees that you grew yourself from tiny saplings. You sit and wonder what your family will grow to do, and hope that they will flourish just as beautifully as your garden has. This is the start of your family legacy!
Aspiration: Freelance botanist
Traits: Cheerful, clumsy, loves outdoors
Career: Gardening
Skills: Gardening, fishing, wellness
Live on a lot with the lot challenge ‘Simple living’
Grow a cowplant and keep it alive for as long as you live (if it dies, immediately plant a new one)
Grow 5 perfect plants
Marry a sim who also has the ‘loves outdoors’ trait
*Gain the Outdoorsy lifestyle
*Grow a death flower

Not So Berry Legacy Challenge
Do you like the rainbow? Do you like the idea of playing with berry Sims but hate berry Sims? Do you want to mess around with aspects of the game you’ve never used before? Boy, do I have the challenge for you!
Welcome to the Not So Berry Legacy Challenge, a ten generation legacy with a focus on bright colors and new experiences.
Basic Rules:
Each heir must represent the color of the generation (i.e. hair, makeup, clothing), but brightly colored skin is not necessary (these aren’t actually berry Sims, that’s the joke). Of course, this is optional but a big portion of the fun.
The colors of the spouses don’t matter as they aren’t part of the challenge. Unless otherwise stated you can do whatever you please with them.
Money cheats can be used, but not excessively. Suggestion: use freerealestate for your first home, but no cheats afterward.
You may live wherever you please unless something is specified in the rules of a generation.
Every generation is supposed to complete both the career and aspiration of the heir unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Keep the lifespan on normal.
If you play this challenge and want to share it with us, go ahead and post with #notsoberry so we can see!
My good friend @alwaysimming and I kind of created this challenge on accident, but I think it turned out pretty great. We wanted to make something that forced us to play with parts of the game we’ve never explored before. Hopefully you’ll have fun too. You can follow our gameplay on @mintiphresh and @lea-fey (pronounced “minty fresh” and “leafy”)!
