Hopper accidentally becomes the biggest ally in Hawkins out of hatred for Mike Wheeler. El wants to date Max? Perfect, Mike is terrified of Max. El wants to date Max and Lucas? Even better, more people to keep Mike away. Will comes out to Joyce and Hop? Hopper is immediately studying up on gay culture and flagging so he can find him a Hop ApprovedTM boyfriend. He sees that nice boy Gareth cuff his jeans one time and starts inviting him to family dinner. Mike seems annoyed that Steve is spending more time with Munson? A pamphlet titled “Accepting your Bisexuality” finds its way into Steve’s jacket pocket. Hopper has never seen Mike as furious as the day Steve and Munson arrive at dinner holding hands. It’s a good day. Hopper isn’t sure how Nancy dating the Buckley girl will annoy Mike, but he’s willing to give it a shot.

Hi my name is Michael Dark’ness Dementia Raven Wheeler and I have long ebony black hair (that’s how I got my name) with bangs and a mullet that reaches my shoulders and dark brown eyes like the desperation of my soul and a lot of people tell me I look like Freddie Mercury (AN: if u don’t know who he is get da hell out of here!). I’m not related to Eddie Munson but I wish I was because he’s a major fucking hottie. I’m a nerd but I think I’m pretty cool. I have pale white skin. I’m also a D&D paladin, and I play with an awesome party called the Hellfire Club at Hawkins High where I’m in the ninth grade (I’m fourteen). I’m an emo (in case you couldn’t tell) and I wear mostly black. I love Hot Topic and I buy all my clothes from there. For example today I was wearing an oversized yellow shirt and a purple tank top with matching green shorts and white sunglasses, a tie-dye hat, and flip flops. I was walking outside Hawkins High. It was the day of spring break so I was about to leave to see my girlfriend and her brother who I secretly have a crush on, which I was very happy about. A lot of preps stared at me. I put up my middle finger at them.

Guys, I hate to break it to you, but the miscommunication between WIll and Mike has built up like a fucking giant snowball. Mike is hiding his feelings too much. Will is lying to Mike about Eleven too carelessly. They are not on the same page at ALL.

The confession won't be a soft confession in Mike's basement. They'll fight. They'll fight... bad.

I just realized that Argyle is first person to know Jane as Jane Hopper, his best friend Jonathan's shy younger stepsister, not as El or Eleven the girl with telekinetic powers.

He was the first person to know her as just a regular girl, not some science experiment.

And he was also first person really to know Will as William Byers Jonathan's Shy and artistic younger brother with mental health issues (I have no doubt Jonathan told him Will has depression, anxiety, and PTSD, and it's why Jonathan doesn't want leave them) and doesn't judge him for it.

He doesn't know why Will suffers from them, but also doesn't treat him any different for it.

And he only knows Jonathan as Jonathan a brother who's very protective over his two younger siblings, and encourages him that Will and Jane was be okay if he's not there.

And he knows Joyce as Jonathan and Will's single mother and Jane's stepmother, with anxiety problems.

And still he doesn't treat them any different after he finds out about "The Upside Down" or Jane's superpowers, he just treats them normally.

People say that Argyle didn't do much for the plot, when really Argyle was the person the Byers-Hopper family need in their lives.

Someone who treats them like a normal family, and doesn't treat them any different after he finds out the truth and does what ever he can to help.

Argyle is a true friend, that is always there when they need him.

He's exactly what the four of them needed.

A friend.
