Lotus Is My Safe Word is a Huskerdust fic

Pumpkin Pie Is My Safe Word is a Radioapple fic

They'll be written as two different chaptered fanfiction in a03, titled respectively as shown above, HOWEVER these two fanfic and rolling in the same universe, aka, Lotus & Pumpkin Pie.

I'm going to be trying my best to keep each fic from repeating chapters in its partners, though some scene will be described in both stories.

It's been slow now that I'm actually sinking my teeth into, I'm writing up tweaked versions of the Hazbin Hotel Canon characters for my personal AU, more headcanon based then what originally Vivzy created.

I'm honestly excited for the growth of Lotus & Pumpkin Pie, both Huskerdust and Radioapple being my flight of fancy and I just... Akjdjdnd ya'know?

I'm the type of person who connects music to my emotions and my thoughts. It's hard to explain if you, the reader, doesn't experience the same thing but I'll give it my best shot..

Whenever I listen to a song, I particularly focus on the way the instrument's sounds combine and the way the vocal melodies tie it all together. I don't so much pay attention to the lyrics, as in, hearing word for word. I hear what the words are expressing. Which then allows me to 'feel' songs while I'm listening to them.

Does that make any sense?? Unstable mentality perhaps???

Now that I explained the needed detail for this post, and it's connection to Husk, I want to share some crumbs for y'all Husker Lovers..

I dragged together a Spotify playlist and swept all the songs that literally feels like Husk. Not that I think the song him in like... Uh... Those like “Character Theme Song” thingies on YouTube. These songs feel like his ESSENCES.

Ya'know?

I listen to these songs and it's like I could turn around and see him. Or a phantom breeze of his Cologne? Yuh.

I feel like a crazy sleep deprived person trying to convince y'all aliens are real :3c

Ya'see, I have brain rot for this particular ship but this infestation won't be satisfied if I giggle and kick my feet as I make them kiss and kanoodle with eachother, soooooo I've decided to bite off a whole lot more that I could ever chew :D

Huskerdust has been literally devouring my brain cells and I just need to word vomit. Trust me, it'll be worth it if you like fanfictions with multiple chapters...

I've been digging to the ends of earth to find really good Huskerdust fanfics where it really just shows the slow genuine connection between Husk and Angel- don't get me wrong, the ones that are similar are delightful crumbs but I need mORE.

But aside the fluff, I haven't found any.. uh... NOT fluff that I felt matched the romantic side of their relationship. Either Angel is being too pornstar like (yes I'm aware that he literally is a porn star but come on guys, this is Huskerdust we're talking about), or Husk was being too... I'm not sure, out of character maybe? And it's a bit upsetting cut there's so much potential there to make really juicy r rated scenes that aren't just.. smash and move on, ya'know?

Where's the intimacy in the sex? Come on, cough it up. Husk wouldn't touch angel like how he does in the studio. I want to read raw emotional sex- is that weird?? Probably.

Point of this post is that I finally threw in the towel. I'm writing a detailed fanfiction of Husk and Angel slowly growing together as friends then to lovers and the hardships they'll have to go through.

This fanfic is meant to hurt because hey, they're in Hell and it's very obvious by words that were said and behaviour in the show itself. This fic is stuffed with angst but don't let that stir you away if angst inst your thing. Just as there is angst, there'll also be chapters exploring cute headcanons I have for the duo and nearly suffocating fluff that honestly melted my own heart (don't forget about the fantastically written smut).

It's a chapter at a time unfortunately, but definitely give it a chance?
