Merrick: "We brought him in for intel." Ajax: "Good. 'Cause I'm about to extract something alright." Keegan: "Don’t." Hesh: "Please do."

Ajax steps into the room like it’s a comedy roast special. Rorke glares up at him, cocky.

Rorke: “You Ghosts never learn. Still playing soldier?” Ajax: “You talk a lot for someone who looks like the final boss of a Lowe’s lumber aisle.”

Ajax: “Let me ask you something, Rorke. When you switched to the Federation—was that before or after your barber switched careers?”

Rorke: “Shut your—” Ajax: “Make me, Mr. Clean with unresolved trauma!”

Logan: On the floor, wheezing like a kettle Hesh: Screaming into a tactical vest Keegan: “...I’m filing this under enhanced interrogation.”

Merrick (in the doorway): “Did he talk?” Keegan: “Not yet. But his soul left his body about three roasts ago.”

Riley: barks once. Approves. Rorke: ...Visibly questioning his life choices.

[FINAL ROAST – Ajax drops mic (literally a flashlight)]

Ajax: “Wrap it up. I got more burns than he got brain cells. Put his bald-headed Google Earth skull in holding before I call the Ghosts back for a second round.”

Angst Rorke x Elias stuff

Elias, who haunts Rorke after everything. Not even death could seperate them. They made their vows that death will never do them part. And it's paid off in a awful way

Elias spirit clings onto Rorke, arms around his shoulder his head resting against Rorkes almost intimately.

It's why Rorke stopped torturing Logan in the first place. It's why he just..let Logan go. He couldn't bare to make Elias spirit anymore upset than he already has.

The longer Elias spirit clings to Rorke the stronger it gets, sharing Rorkes energy. His pain. His anger.

And Rorke just let's him. He doesn't have the heart to stop him

"..I'm sorry..I can't fix you.."

Rorke whispers staring at the mirror where he can see Elias face still. Even when Rorke tries to reach to touch, it feels like Elias is there. He swears he feels his skin.

Rorke is running out of patience to pretend he doesn't care anymore, he's too attatched again. Every time Elias spirit appears and latches onto him, Rorke swears he feels himself leaning into the false warmth.

Even going as far as too beg for Elias spirit to stay longer.

"Just..a few more minutes"

Rorke murmurs but when he gets out of bed the spirit is already gone, leaving Rorke lonely again until it decides to come back. To cling onto him again.

Rorkes become isolated from reality he doesn't even realised he's strayed from the feds path.

He's not realised how far he's lost it as he feels the touches of Elias spirit all over his body, sobbing softly when it disappears realising its showing him what he could've had.

He could've had Elias. He could've settled and grown old together. If hadn't been so weak.

If Rorke had been only a little bit stronger then maybe they could've been spirits together, maybe he would have the real Elias in his arms. But now he's stuck with the spirit.

And he'll do with what he's got. But he wants more. Always more. Always Elias.
