We only get one life.
People use it as motivation pretty often. But I'm just like so what?
I'm not doing this because I only have one life, even if I had 50 I'd want all of them to be filled with passion, adventure, excitement and all the likes. None of them would include a version of me that's living a sad, boring and pathetic life.
Never let yourself live in misery, there is no moment in life where you should simply accept something that is slowly killing you inside, there is no fixed state of life, change will always come. You can either wait for it... Or go get it.
- choose wisely, make it happen

TAKE ACTION
I know you guys hate to hear this, it's annoying, repetitive and if it was actually that easy you would have already done it. And you're right.
But.
I'm here to present you a new (probably not so new) way to take action towards anything, be it a goal, a person, a situation whatever you may want to apply this to.
First of all, drop the assumption that your current situation can't change. How? Take a deep breath and tell yourself it ain't that serious (even if it is, you need to ease yourself into the process plus it's fun to have a humorous approach to things that are actively ruining your life )
Second, focus on why you want said thing. Be completely transparent with yourself, then ask yourself if this reason ever helped to motivate you when you were down (I have a good incling the answer is probably no, otherwise you wouldn't be here) . If the answer is no, then change your why or change the goal, it's up to you to figure out whether having that thing or reaching that goal is essential to you or whether you can drop it and focus on something else. If the answer is yes, move on to the next step.
Step 3, write down what you've been doing so far and why you think it didn't help you achieve your objective and then promise yourself you will not retrace your steps. (Say you were making lists of weekly goals , that didn't help? Good, now you're never gonna make one again, not with this method anyway. )
Once you've freed yourself of the old, we start with the new. Now, we have a lot of options on how you can tackle the new.
Do the opposite of what you did before (if you were writing about your desires now you're talking about them)
Higher your chances (there are things you can do in order to make your objectives more reachable, focus on those. Example, you want to lose weight? Start walking more, take the long route, do a 1 minute plank before sleep, create your own plating system to aid your diet)
Gamify the whole thing. Literally life as we live it has been made up, you might as well have fun with it.
Set closer deadlines or if you're like to make it a little more interesting (like I do) go to a random number generator and set a maximum and minimum of days (you can also do weeks months or hours, they're all numbers at the end of the day) let it choose your fate (aka how long you'll spend on your objective
10% everyday. Do something everyday that will get you closer to your objective (this can also be a literal 10% of your day in terms of hours or minutes)
Vlog it. Literally, vlog it and save the videos onto a USB. Maybe if you have an audience you'll feel more pressured to actually stick to what you want and show that you can in fact achieve your goals. (This could go south really quick, so make sure you have the mental stability for it so it doesn't turn into feeling like you are constantly "performing" for an inexistent audience. I also strongly advise to not share your journey on social media, by doing that you're inviting opinions and obstacles, keep to yourself boo)
Create a story (for my little researchers and overanalyzers). Literally tackle your objectives as if they were a research you have to prove. Create the story line you want, something engaging and enjoy (lol y'all gotta let me know the settings you'll pick)
These are it for now. I'll probably add more
So? You taking the challenge? Yes, yes you are because I said so, good luck bbys 🩷
