Naturally, the one time I get to go back to LA for a visit, there's a heat warning in effect. Know I shouldn't expect anything less in the middle of summer, but it's still a little frustrating.

No, I hadn't. I admit I don't usually pay attention to food trends or whatnot; if something's actually good then I'll hear about it from someone trustworthy soon enough, otherwise I don't really care. Maybe that means I miss out on some things, but, eh. The mushroom coffee seems to be getting good reviews from people around here, though, so I'll give it a try to see if it's something I like.

I agree. Why focus on the things you can't have, when you can instead focus on all the good things you can enjoy? Can't argue with that, either. Chocolate is pretty good, so it's no surprise that its a weakness for a lot of people. Me included. You really didn't have to do that, but thanks. I appreciate it. I'm up for trying most things as long as they don't sound terrible, so I'm curious to see how this mushroom coffee thing goes. Hope you enjoy the jam, too. Made it over the weekend, so it should be good for a while yet. I typically use berries since they're easiest to work with, but I'm sure you could use other kinds of fruits. Could actually be fun to try out different mixes.

Wow, tell me how you really feel. Wait... are you sure? I know you said they wanted to see me, but I don't want to barge in during the holidays. It's already a crazy enough time. As for now, I'd ask why you gotta copy me with the whole going to LA thing, but I guess I can't turn down a chance to see a game. Let me know what time, and I'll meet up with you guys.

Good to know. I never feel like I'm missing out since I enjoy what I eat regardless, but it's still nice to hear from someone who would know. To be fair, can anyone resist brownies every now and then? I'm not big on cakes or things like that, but do enjoy brownies. Must be the chocolate. If you want to avoid sugar but still want something sweet and tasty, I have a recipe for homemade jam I can give you. It doesn't use sugar, and it's pretty easy to make. It's actually one of my go-to's when I want something sweet, but healthy. Uh, mushroom coffee? No, can't say I have tried it. Haven't even heard of it, but now I'm a little curious.

Wow, 'Te, way to hurt my feelings. I don't complain that much. What are you talking about? After all these years, you can't possibly be surprised to know I like your cooking. You're the best cook I know -- after your mom and myself, of course. That was my thought, too. Probably won't be until closer to the holidays when I get time off like that again, so it'd be a waste to not spend a few days back in LA.

Really? That's actually pretty awesome. Did you do wrestling pictures, or other things? I'm just curious. I don't know what the schedule is like in AEW, but imagine it wouldn't be too difficult to do photography on the side if it was still something you wanted to do.

Did you get your fruit salad? I'd say I hope it was homemade since I wouldn't really trust any you could get that late from anyplace else, but it would have been a little late to be making it too. Aren't they the best? I definitely prefer them over black bean burgers, but I can't speak for the actual beef ones. Here's the real question, though: What sort of desserts complete the meal?

If that's all it took, this friendship wouldn't have lasted anywhere near what it has. Face it, 'Te, you're stuck with me whether you like it or not. Wow, okay, threatening me with subpar food, that's sure to motivate me. Then again, if they're leftovers you made, they'll still be good. Ah, well, at least you had a good time. I'm ready for a visit to LA too, so I was thinking I'd go spend a little time there later this month. I'm not planning on working the tour, except for Smackdown and the PLE. Maybe the RAW after, I'll have to see how things are closer to then. What about you? I know you worked a bit on the last tour.

I should be the one saying that to you, but okay. Oh, so it's a misery loves company sorta deal? Can't bear the thought of suffering alone, so you gotta drag me into it, as well? I see how it is. You're lucky I can't turn down free food, otherwise you'd be shit outta luck. Not LA? What are you doing out there, then? Uh, yeah? Going to Mexico is a lot easier than flying across the ocean, so of course I wouldn't mind these sorta shows. It was fun. A lot less stressful than the televised ones.

As another photography lover, I say go for it. It's a great hobby to have, no matter if you do street photography, photoshoots, or anything else. And if they aren't letting you wrestle right now, there's no reason not to find something else to occupy your time with.
