Dads house is an organisation aimed at providing the same support to single fathers in the UK as is available for single mothers. We also try and help dads in fun ways such as our football events that allow 50 single dads to play football together every week. We have recently launched a photography exhibition called 'In dads shoes- photography exhibition on single fathers' which shows photos of fathers and their children. Our other 'In Dads Shoes' competition celebrates the role of single fathers everywhere. The Dalgarno Neighbourhood Trust and Dadshouse are celebrating the role of single fathers in the Community and asking YOU to nominate them. Wether you're their child OR a relative, EVERY single nominated dad will be guaranteed a photograph by award winning photographer Harry Borden, of them with their children! The top 10 will also be invited to a launch party of the refurbished DNT community centre and to open our dads house exhibition, which their photos will be a part of. As well as this they will get their photo framed and signed by harry, along with 1 hr flying lessons and £300 of vouchers from Bob's Books. Our Top 10 favourite entries will be invited to a launch party in January to not only celebrate the re-opening of the newly refurbished DNT Community Centre but also to open our photography exhibition. Our top 10 entries will be exhibited alongside DadsHouse current nationwide photography exhibition 'In Dad's Shoes', which recently exhibited at The House of Lords.
