Not-so-weekend getaway
Been waiting for this trip since November 2012. Yes, we booked our flights a year earlier, thanks to my "impulsive-booking" buddies, their convincing powers, my "kaladkarin-ness", and their peer-pressuring skills.
As usual, I had a hard time asking permission from my parents. Hunger strike, silent treatment, going home late, and long hours of sleep-- name it, I did everything! hahaha

We arrived at the Francisco Bangoy International Airport, Davao City at around 3 in the afternoon. We went to the Davao Crocodile park. For me, it was just a usual zoo.
My friends made me hold a snake. The kuya's there were actually laughing at me 'coz I attempted to run 3 times!!
Brave girl, NOT!
We ate Crocodile icecream, too!
While waiting for the fire dance show at Tribu K' Mindanawan, we went to the Zorb Park.
Kuripot Alert: With a little charm and pagpapa-cute, we convinced kuya to give us discount. Instead of paying P200 per person (x4), he made us pay P200 per person for 3 pax (That's P200 off! hihi)
I thought I was inside a washing machine. NEVER AGAIN!
This one's one of my favorites. Super sulit!!
After the tiring first day, we went to Jack's Ridge to have dinner. It's like Davao's version of Tagaytay.
We were too hungry to take a photo of the food we ordered! Hahaha
We spent our first night in Davao at my friend's friend's house. (FC, I know!!) His little brother is too cute, I can't help but take a photo with Matt. :">

We went to the airport to fetch some of our friends whose flights were a day later than ours.
Picture picture muna habang naghihintay, syemps. hihi
Welcome to Davao, girlie piessss!!!
Me, Pen, Edna, Gab, Ly, Jemboi, Pia, Moti, Alex
First stop: Penong's
The best barbecue ever!!!!!
Next: Eden Nature Park
Happy girls are the prettiest, high school friends are the clingiest.
The BSS: back-seat society
We checked-in our luggage and went out for dinner. Our tour guides also brought us to a KTV lounge because we kept on singing inside the van. (My iPod ran out of battery so I don't have photos of our karaoke night)

Let's go to the beach-each, let's go get awayyy! Samal Island, here we coooooome!!!!
Lowest point. HAHAHA
From Costa Marina (or Costa Rica?) we went to Kaputian Beach front and rode another boat to Talikud Island.
Emote!
Please excuse my selfie in the middle of the sea (rhyme, yo!)
After almost a day of travelling (by land and sea)...The breath taking view.
Obligatory beach selfie!!
We spent the rest of the afternoon swimming, and of course, taking a lot of pictures.
After swimming, we had dinner by the beach. I guess we're that hungry that we forgot to take photos of our food.
S'mores timeeeee!!!
*during the bobo drinking game*
Category: Maroon 5 songs
Pia's answer, loud and proud: THE MAN WHO CAN'T BE MOVED!
This made our night. =))

Sunrise with the best girls in town
I should be collecting my travel jumpshots (inspired by Bianca G's travel tumbling shots).
For our last day, we gave up water-tubing for island hopping.
No need for photo filters. Dang, breathtaking.
Believe it or not, this one's a legit stolen shot:
Running joke: pag single puro view pinipicturan. No wonder I found a lot of these on my camera roll.
Much-needed break from work.
We went back to Isla Reta after 3 hours of island hopping.
SPOTTED: Monkey!!!
Last group picture before we head back to the city.
HIGH SCHOOL FRIENDS ARE THE BEST! Vlad*, Pen, Me, Edna, Moti**, Alex, Jemboi, Ly, Pia, Gab, Paolo***
(*Pen's boyfriend; **Alex's boyfriend; ***Pen's friend, our tour guide, and Ly's sembreak fling. Kidding!)
Kaputian Beach Park, Island Garden City of Samal
We rode a habal-habal and I enjoyed it! [I don't have picture, tho. :( ]
We were divided into two groups. Our group went to Bangkerohan Public Market and Aldevinco to buy pasalubong.
While waiting for the other group, we were not able to resist the tempting sweet corn. PG (patay-gutom) alert! Oh we ate green mangoes before this!
For our last night, we had dinner Delongtes Seafoods Grill & Barbecue.
Paolo's family was very generous, hospitable, kind, sweet (and the list goes on) to give us a send-off dinner.
Bye-bye, Matthew!
*I was teasing him about his crush, sabi niya dati lang yun. Then he told me: "Eh, the past doesn't matter na!" This kid. Hahahaha
We did not harass him, promise!
After the dinner, Paolo's driver drove us to the airport. OFW feels talaga!
The perfect outfit for a midnight flight. Parang bibili lang ng suka sa kanto!
Ticket to reality! Back to Manila= Back to work </3
