REWORKING MY LOOK BOOK
Instead of using the images I look of my original project of my Look book shown below,
I decided to import the images into a template magazine to give a more professional look for my portfolio
I am really happy with the way this turned out and it is definitely a huge improvement.

CAUTION- REWORKING
I decided to include these sketches from my Caution project, I feel as though they are in keeping with the theme of my portfolio and show off my style well.
I began messing with the designs by creating fun hand drawn lines on photoshop to give a hand made sort of feel. Considering I am very hands on and creative.

DRAWING
Using the image above I began sketching around my models eyes for fun.
I then added the shadow from the light and finish off the rest of her face. I am really pleased with how it turned out and the resemblance to my model.

In order to link my portfolio together, I used this hand drawn line theme throughout.

Again, I feel as though it is necessary to communicate your work and development to the best of your ability as the people seeing your portfolio are only seeing your work for the first time and haven’t a clue what it’s about.
I wanted to make sure I communicated the representation of the sea being similar to social media, how shallow and vast and dangerous it could be. I also wanted to set the tone of voice for the editorial. It is a serious editorial discussing the negative effects of social media.

I feel as though these designs I drew for my UN_FOLD shoot styling were quite fun and edgy. I think they represent my style well, I plan to show these in my portfolio as part of my development.

As a starting point I began creating my first UN_FOLD page of my portfolio. Above I have shown an example of my text to go with this page. I really aimed to communicate my project well through this. I felt while I needed to introduce my project strong I also needed to make reference to the front cover. “Doesn’t that sound so lonely?” I feel as though the image is quite sad and she seems isolated due to social media.

Editing my editorials
I decided the best way to showcase my recent work for UN_FOLD and DAZED was to place it in a mock up magazine.
To do this, I found an image from google of a blank magazine, I then placed my image over the top and dropped the menu below down to multiple and then turned the opacity to 95%

AS2: Portfolio (GFW2019)
AS2 is a traditional A3 portfolio that demonstrates this year’s studio projects in preparation for GFW2019 Portfolio Award. It should clearly present your individual creative identity, whilst communicating your thinking and development process from your original concepts to final artwork.
The work should reveal a high level of contemporary visual communication, evidence your research points that display the relationship to the development of your ideas. Lastly all pages should present final outcomes to a professional standard.

Here I started playing with the idea of an edited person not made for Instagram placed next to the instagram post.

When it came to putting them together, I felt that the edited image as an instagram post was a lot strong by itself than it was with the unedited version.

I started to create this idea of an instagram border that is also a Pantone.
