🌈HOW QUEER ARE YOU? 🏳️🌈
Just around my mom’s last birthday, I came out to her. At first, it was hard—she struggled to understand. But just a few days before she left this world, she looked at me with love and said something that has never left me:
“Don’t just be a number, make it count.”
Those words became my compass. Today, in honor of her and the LGBTQ+ community, I’ve built something from scratch—something I never thought I’d be able to do on my own.
🌈 Introducing QueerQuest – an LGBTQ+ trivia game created to celebrate our history, our stories, and our voices:

The Story Starts With You
What if learning about our rich LGBTQ+ history could be as exciting as your favorite game night? What if every question answered could spark pride, every level conquered could celebrate our resilience, and every shared moment could strengthen our bonds?
QueerQuest Trivia isn't just another game—it's a love letter to our community, crafted by aqueer heart for queer minds.
Why This Matters More Than Ever
In a world where our stories are often erased or distorted, we've created something revolutionary: identity-specific trivia that celebrates YOU exactly as you are. Whether you're gay, lesbian, transgender, non-binary, bisexual, pansexual, asexual, or anywhere on our beautiful spectrum, this game speaks your language and honors your journey.
What Makes QueerQuest Special:
- Personalized Learning: Questions tailored to your identity and experience
- Educational Impact: Every wrong answer becomes a teaching moment about our history
- Community Building: Shareable achievements that spark conversations and connections
- Representation: Created by us, for us, celebrating every shade of our rainbow
The Dream We're Building Together
Right now, QueerQuest Trivia lives as a passion project. But we envision so much more:
✨ Expanded Question Banks - Thousands more questions covering untold stories from every corner of our community
✨ Mobile Apps- Taking our trivia everywhere our community goes
✨ Community Features - Leaderboards, challenges, and ways to connect with fellow players
✨ Educational Partnerships- Working with LGBTQ+ organizations and schools worldwide
✨ Accessibility Features- Ensuring everyone can play, regardless of ability
✨ Regular Updates - Fresh content celebrating current events and emerging voices

Why QueerQuest?
🌟 Visibility
- Amplifying queer voices and stories that deserve to be heard
🌟 Education - Creating resources that combat ignorance with joy and knowledge
🌟 Connection - Building bridges between community members across the globe
🌟 Pride - Giving our community reasons to celebrate who we are every single day
From My Heart to Yours
Friend, you truly know my story because you walked it with me. You were there when my mom was fighting cancer; when I came here again and again to crowdfund her treatments, when we sold everything we had just to buy her more time, and when we pulled together to design that unforgettable birthday for her.
You know how, in her final days, I gathered the courage to come out to her. It wasn’t easy, but before we finally lost her, she gave me words that changed my life:
“Don’t just be a number, make it count.”
That’s why QueerQuest isn’t just code on a screen. It’s every sleepless night, every sacrifice, every ounce of love I had left after grief. I taught myself the skills, scraped together what little I had for a laptop, and built this game from the ground up—not just for me, but for all of us.
But I can't do this alone. I need our community—i need YOU.
So….How queer are you really? 👀
Think you know your history, icons, and culture? Time to put that knowledge to the test.

My mom’s birthday is coming up soon—September 11th.
I dream of launching QueerQuest on a bigger scale this September 11th, as a birthday gift to my mom’s memory and a love letter to our community. But I can’t do it alone. I have no investors, no backing… only this dream and the belief that together, we can make it real.
Every coffee you buy isn’t just support, it’s the difference between this game staying small and it becoming a legacy.
Please be my support, be my investor, and help me launch QueerQuest on my mom’s birthday.

Thanks, that's good to know! ^^
As I had the privilege of seeing a physical therapist after, I wanted to transcribe the sets of beginner exercises and stretches she is giving me for upper body recovery after my top/DMX surgery. Just in case someone out there needs it, after being cleared for exercising after your surgery. Don't start these earlier than that.
Important disclaimer that these are exercises given to me based on my recovery limitations, that may or may not apply to you, and are shared solely for your convenience. This doesn't replace healthcare nor should it be seen as a direct solution. If there is any pain or discomfort when doing these, stop immediately. These descriptions do not belong to me nor do I claim that they do, I do not know the original source, I'm just transcribing.
I do not note the reps or sets for these as they will largely vary on your own flexibility and strength, but a good place to start to test the waters is 10 reps, 2 sets.
Doorway Pec Stretch at 90° Abduction:
Setup: Begin in a standing upright position in the center of a doorway.
Movement: With your elbows bent, place your forearms on the sides of the doorway at a 90 degree angle from your sides, then take a small step forward until your feel a stretch in the front of your shoulders. Hold this position for 30 seconds.
Tip: Make sure to maintain a gentle stretch and do not shrug your shoulders during the exercise.
Standing Shoulder Internal Rotation Stretch with Towel
Setup: Begin in a standing position, holding both ends of a towel in each hand, with one arm behind your head and the other behind your mid to low back.
Movement: Slowly straighten your upper arm, gently pulling upward on the towel, and hold when you feel a stretch for 30 seconds.
Tip: Make sure to keep your back straight during the exercise.
Standing Cross Body Shoulder Stretch at Wall
Setup: Begin in a standing upright position next to a wall.
Movement: Lift your arm in front of your body and rest your shoulder on the wall, then grasp your elbow from above and gently pull it across your chest until you feel a stretch in the back of your shoulder and hold for 30 seconds.
Alternative Movement: Lift your arm in front of your body and rest your shoulder on the wall, then grasp your forearm from above and gently push down towards the wall until you feel a stretch in the back of your shoulder and hold for 30 seconds.
Tip: Make sure to keep your arm just below parallel with your shoulder.
Shoulder External Rotation and Scapular Retraction with Resistance
Setup: Begin in an upright standing position with your arms by your sides, holding a resistance band in both hands. Bend your elbows to approximately 90 degrees with your palms up.
Movement: Slowly rotate your forearms out to the side. As you do so, pinch your shoulder blades down and back together. Pause briefly, then return to the starting position.
Tip: Make sure that you keep the bend in your elbows as you rotate your arms. Avoid shrugging your shoulders.
Standing Shoulder Horizontal Abduction with Resistance
Setup: Begin in a standing position holding a resistance band in each hand. Lift your arms straight in front of your body with both fists facing inward.
Movement: Pull your hands apart until they are directly to your sides, then return to the starting position and repeat.
Tip: Make sure to keep your arms level and think of squeezing your shoulder blades together as you pull the band. Maintain good posture during the exercise and avoid shrugging your shoulders.
Standing Bilateral Low Shoulder Row with Anchored Resistance
Setup: Begin in a standing upright position holding both ends of a resistance band that is anchored in front of you, with your palms facing up
Movement: Pull your arms back against the resistance band, bending at your elbows, then return to the starting position and repeat.
Tip: Make sure to keep your back straight and think of squeezing your shoulder blades together as you pull your arms back.
Standing Elbow Extension with Anchored Resistance
Setup: Begin in a standing upright position, holding the ends of a resistance band that is anchored overhead in front of you.
Movement: Gently squeeze your shoulder blades together. Maintaining this position, slowly straighten your elbows, pressing your hands towards the floor, then reverse the movement, and repeat.
Tip: Make sure to keep your elbows close to your sides and do not shrug your shoulders during the exercise.

Intriguing, I should keep this in mind maybe-
I’m about to save you thousands of dollars in therapy by teaching you what I learned paying thousands of dollars for therapy:
It may sound woo woo but it’s an important skill capitalism and hyper individualism have robbed us of as human beings.
Learn to process your emotions. It will improve your mental health and quality of life. Emotions serve a biological purpose, they aren’t just things that happen for no reason.
1. Pause and notice you’re having a big feeling or reaching for a distraction to maybe avoid a feeling. Notice what triggered the feeling or need for a distraction without judgement. Just note that it’s there. Don’t label it as good or bad.
2. Find it in your body. Where do you feel it? Your chest? Your head? Your stomach? Does it feel like a weight everywhere? Does it feel like you’re vibrating? Does it feel like you’re numb all over?
3. Name the feeling. Look up an emotion chart if you need to. Find the feeling that resonates the most with what you’re feeling. Is it disappointment? Heartbreak? Anxiety? Anger? Humiliation?
4. Validate the feeling. Sometimes feelings misfire or are disproportionately big, but they’re still valid. You don’t have to justify what you’re feeling, it’s just valid. Tell yourself “yeah it makes sense that you feel that right now.” Or something as simple as “I hear you.” For example: If I get really big feelings of humiliation when I lose at a game of chess, the feeling may not be necessary, but it is valid and makes sense if I grew up with parents who berated me every time I did something wrong. So I could say “Yeah I understand why we are feeling that way given how we were treated growing up. That’s valid.”
5. Do something with your body that’s not a mental distraction from the feeling. Something where you can still think. Go on a walk. Do something with your hands like art or crochet or baking. Journal. Clean a room. Figure out what works best for you.
6. Repeat, it takes practice but is a skill you can learn :)

Genuinely so much interesting information!
"homosexuality is unnatural! there's only two genders! it's a sin-"
I'm sorry, have you seen NATURE???
ALSO THE ARTIST IS HUMON, FIND THEM AT HUMONCOMICS.COM!! was so sure I had included that but apparently I forgot, so sorry!

and there's so many more species than this that exhibit homosexuality, varying genders, etc. SO! MANY!
it's very much a natural thing. it always has been. unfortunately, while homosexuality is found in many species, homophobia is only found in one
EDIT: added a keep reading cause this is a long post lol
EDIT: everyone in the comments needs to shut up or I will turn comments off, stop arguing, jeez

This sounds like good advice-
Emergency cleaning: Unfuck your whole house in the shortest time possible
So, your landlord/parents/home inspector/favorite movie star is dropping by, and your place is a disaster. You don’t have much time to clean it up. You’re in emergency mode. Let’s get started.
Don’t panic. Panic leads to fear, fear leads to procrastination, procrastination leads to the dark side. You can do this, but you have to stay calm.
Unlike maintenance cleaning, we’re not looking to completely unfuck one space at a time. Instead, we want to decrease the overall mess in stages, spread evenly across the whole area that we’re concerned about. If you think your home is at Level 10 filth, we want to bring the whole thing down to a Level 9, and then down from there. One really clean spot in an otherwise messy home is not going to be helpful here.
Get prepared. You’ll want to shut the computer down (or turn the modem off if you need your computer to play music). Trust me. Get your music going. Gather up trash bags, your vacuum and mop, some rags or paper towel, sponges, and other cleaning supplies. Use what you have on hand. Don’t get distracted running to the store and spending an hour browsing cleaning supplies. A multi-purpose cleaning concentrate or a jug of vinegar will be just fine.
Breaks are very important. Depending on your time constraints, work in 20/10s (20 minutes working, 10-minute break) or 45/15s. But take breaks because otherwise you’re marathoning, and marathon cleaning is no one’s friend. Keep hydrated, don’t forget to eat, and check in with yourself frequently to make sure you’re physically doing OK.
Make your bed. This will be your home base if you get overwhelmed or need somewhere clear to take a break.
Start with the garbage. Going from room to room, throw out anything that is obvious trash. Once you fill a bag, take it out. Repeat as many times as necessary.
Move on to dishes. Gather the dishes from all over your house and bring them to the kitchen. If you can, start them soaking in a sink of hot, soapy water or start loading the dishwasher. After the dishes are all in one place, spend one 20/10 getting started getting them under control.
Now it’s time for your flat surfaces. Countertops, tables, dresser tops, etc. Clear them off and wipe them down. Don’t get distracted in too much sorting and organizing. We’re in crisis mode here. There will be time to get in-depth once this is all done. The same applies to cabinets and closets. Unless you have reason to believe people will be opening closed doors, leave these alone for now.
Attack the floordrobe and shoe pile. Get your clothes either put away or in the hamper. Start a load of laundry if you need to, but keep in mind that laundry and dishes have three steps: wash, dry, and put it away, goddammit!
Get random stuff up off the floors. If something is trash-worthy, throw it away now rather than just move it around a bunch of times. Otherwise, put stuff where it belongs.
Take another 20/10 or 45/15 to catch up on more dishes, if needed.
Head into the bathroom. Pour some cleaner in the toilet bowl, fill the sink with hot water and cleaner, and either spray the tub and shower with cleaner, or fill the tub up with some hot water and add cleaner and let it soak. Put everything away that’s out and shouldn’t be, clean the mirror, counters, and toilet seat. Sweep or dry mop the floor. Wipe down the sink and tub/shower, and give the toilet bowl a scrub. Mop the floor.
Sweep and mop the kitchen floor.
Vacuum everything you can, and sweep everything you can’t.
Walk outside of your house (don’t lock yourself out, please). Walk back in and see what catches your eye first. Go and deal with that.
If you’re being inspected or your landlord is coming in for repairs, spend time on whatever area they’ll be focusing on.
Give the whole place one more once-over and pay attention to anything you’ve missed so far.
It’s an old trick, but if your place is a little funky-smelling, put a pan of water on the stove on low heat and add some citrus or cinnamon or vanilla. Don’t leave it unattended or forget about it.
Take a shower, put on something clean, and eat something.
You can do this. It’s overwhelming, yes, but it is not impossible. You just need to do it. You have a list. You have directions. You have a whole bunch of Internet strangers who have been there before and who are cheering you on. You can do this, but you need to get started.
Why are you still here? GO. START. NOW.

Good to know, thank you *pockets for future reference*
i noticed a bunch of moots are about to donate their tits to pathology like i did. so heres a post for you.
ROCH'S TOP SURGERY ESSENTIALS:
bathrobe/housecoat/kimono/whatever. you need A Robe. trust me
dry shampoo and wipes. youre gonna feel sooooo gross by day 3.
box of your favorite snacks from nuts.com or somesuch for easy access
a nice fancy instant ramen for easy meals. not maruchan. mild Jin Ramen was my soup of choice and i went through a lot of it. get some chopped veg and presliced meat to zhuzh it up
roll of vet tape (for making a Drain Holster for the shower)
adhesive removal wipes (VERY IMPORTANT you cannot BELIEVE how raw youre gonna feel after peeling off twenty thousand of those fuckin tegaderms. trust me)
peri bottle (good when you dont have a lot of flexibility yet.)
one of those back pillows with the arms that you can prop yourself up on. good for my fellow side sleepers
a gatorade and an egg drop wonton soup right after the surgery. manna from heaven. gatorade in general is a good thing to have, but also drink a ton of water
the day right after surgery is the worst. take those painkillers the SECOND you wake up and then crawl back into bed.
optional but youre gonna want to try getting out of bed with JUST your core muscles, no arms involved. do some crunches if you want. getting up from a dumbbell chest press is good practice
steel yourself for the drains. its gross. i know its gross. there might be a chunk, its fine. just remember, its yours. you made that. it'd be worse if it was someone ELSE'S drain juice and/or weird chunk. you remember this fact and youll be fine.
enjoy my wisdom

Genuinely stealing that for English interactions (if I have the guts for it lol). I also put it on the gender census bc its cool! Sadly doesn't work in my native language but oh well-
since mrs, ms, and mr are all descended from the latin word magister, i propose the gender neutral version should be mg, short for "mage"

I've already signed it but it's still important!
I know we are all used to hear bad news from the USA or UK when it comes to trans rights but this time Germany wants to play in the same league.
Our idiots at home ministry came up with the fucking idea to start a register for all transgender and nonbinary people which would mean every person working at some public position could always at any given time see your assigned gender at birth, your deadname, your address and who knows what else.
We had been there in the past. Hitler Germany called it the "Travestite Law" back then. Our politicians didn't learn.
We all know this is unacceptable.
Please, if you are German, sign it. If you are not, spread it wide and far.
This had been stopped once a few years ago. It needs to be stopped again.

Saving this for later ^^
the infuriating thing is that there is genuinely so much good queer literature out there, contemporary and not, but there is also a sizeable chunk of readers who think that a book only "counts" as good queer literature if it's a) unproblematic, b) contains romance as its central focus, and c) has the characters state their orientation and/or gender identity directly to the audience using socially acceptable 21st-century terms (as opposed to resorting to cowardly tactics such as Subtext and Themes)

I'm probably not the best person to help with this as I've not made one myself yet, but I'm planning on making one myself and am gonna give some unsolicited advice anyway in the hope that it helps.
1st, you may want to come up with a design so you have something to work off of. A sketch or something. Or just a collection of inspo pictures.
2nd, check YouTube for tutorials! There's a few that I've seen that seem pretty good.
3rd, you'll need a mask of your choice. When buying it online make sure to check all pictures and the description for the material and don't buy it if it says latex bc that's those floppy ones.
4th, depending on your design you'll also need eye mesh, (acrylic) paint, clay, hot glue, foam, a mask to wear below the dino mask and some faux fur.
5th, at this stage I'd probably make a plan on what I gotta do in which order (for example: sanding first, then customizing the mask with clay, then priming and painting it etc)
6th, time to do the thing ^^
I hope this helps even though I haven't done it. And I hope you have fun!
Guys how do you make a dino mask??
