SHINE Project; March 2020; Story

The girl you see in the pictures is a witch. Her skin and hair as white as snow, but her eyes beautifully red. 

Was she always a witch? Yes, every witch has always been a witch, since day of birth. But at her birth something happend. Her mom passed, her dad had already left her mother before her day of birth. Since then she always lived alone in a small cabin in the woods, with her nan to care for her as a baby.

One day she finds a box on her bed, on the day of her 20th birthday. With in said box, a letter, from mom. and.... a hairclip, with a beautiful red gem inside:“could it be a Ruby?”. she tries it on. Nothing happend at first, but when she wandered around the forest, a couple hours later, wishing she could become a bird. She turned into a white raven. 

Then, it hit her! Her mom! with all the energy she had, she clumsily flew back to her cabin. In there automatically turning back, since her home is protected against magic from outside. 

She looked for it everywhere, the basket with stuff her mom left when she... you know. She remembered a storybook her nan always read her when she was a baby. Her nan has passed since she was five. but the book was from her mom. 

Ah! Yes! She found it, the book! it’s wrapped in leather with five gemstones on the cover. Each one stands for every element. Fire, water, earth, air and spirit. each of them holding a peculiar spell. The ruby being fire, but changing in an animal whenever you like?

All five gems together, used for good only, could grant any wish you like: “I am gonna bring my mom back!” she screamed.
