im working with homeless patients this term during my clinicals and ive only had one clinical day so far and my mom has already started trying to dehumanize my patients to me
#it makes me so upset and angry that so many people#including my parents#can be so cruel and purposely discriminatory towards people#like i dont understand how you can look at a human being and just say or imply that they should be treated as like#less than an animal.#its so disgusting and i try to talk to the people in my life to try to make them more empathetic but it hasnt worked for years#and i end up like crying or leaving due to frustration#i need to be less emotional and more stubborn i think#but then again half the time they dont believe facts and statistics so idk
