it never hit me how shortsighted Heaven is until i realized they put a Principality (whose entire raison d’être is to protect places and people from harm) in charge of Earth, and then were genuinely surprised when Armageddon came and said Principality went absolutely off-the-grid feral trying to stop it

Small animation from Good Omens that I've made recently. I really wanted to post it sooner, but i took me two weeks to finish it. I've made 3 versions, because i couldn't decide which one looks the best.
If anyone is interested, whole animation was made in Clip Studio Paint. I hope you enjoy ❤️

crowley doesn’t like to eat too often but you can bet your buttons he makes breakfast for aziraphale every morning after they spend the night together!!!
the first time it happens, aziraphale blinks his way awake in the gentle morning sun to find crowley holding out a breakfast tray with coffee and fruit and of course crepes and definitely a little sprig of lavender in a glass cut from his plants! and aziraphale is absolutely blown away, not least because...it’s really good?
“but you hardly ever eat! how did you get so good at making crepes?”
and crowley is bright red when he mumbles something about “I’d been practicing...just in case”

This month’s Patreon request was Crowley and Aziraphale apple picking! Which quite honestly I could not be more happy to draw!
What do you think? Will Aziraphale catch his snake? Or will he miss and have to lovingly patch Crowley up even though he insists he’s fine?

From the DVD commentary, episode 3
Douglas Mackinnon: Now, particularly I want people to watch out for the photograph that I donated to the cause-
Neil Gaiman: That’s my grandfather, that’s Morrie Gaiman.
Douglas Mackinnon: -which is my grandfather who… he’s easy to spot, because he’s the Viking, there he is.
Neil Gaiman: Yes, that is Douglas’s grandfather.
Douglas Mackinnon: And my grandfather, he was from Shetland, was actually called Charles Manson.
Neil Gaiman: And he dressed as a Viking.
Douglas Mackinnon: Dressed as a Viking.
Neil Gaiman: Yes. I’m also related to that milk bottle.
Douglas Mackinnon: [laughter]

I wasted three days on this. Little messy animation I did of Crowley hopping around in the church! Hands are a struggle I do not want to conquer. Not the smoothest but hey, at least I drew it; it was 76 frames and I’m TIRED.

this isn’t hardcore tv criticism exactly but i think something we all forget as a fandom that i’m sad everyone adapting good omens forgot too is that, in the book, we have no idea crowley has any particular reason to be wearing sunglasses until the bookshop burns. the whole book he’s just this douche wearing sunglasses all the fucking time, and everyone comments on it like “yeah there’s that douchebag in the sunglasses,” and it’s completely hilarious until he’s at his most vulnerable

like it’s a fantastic little gut punch of an image, twisting this dumb joke about late 80’s/early 90’s culture into a character revealing moment where you realize, yeah, crowley isn’t as cool as he presents himself even in his head narrating the story. he’s just a scared little dude with something to hide who’s all alone trying to save his home
