Resurrecting from my random periods of severely being online and offline because um, did y'all see the article about Michael Sheen's comment on the GO finale?

I did a bit of a double take.

Because, okay, whatever happens, happens, but I'm gonna be decidedly disappointed if we don't even see anything. Like are they really gonna end it with the 'We could have been us!"? Because my heart can't take that.

I am proud of the Good Omens fandom.

In the past nine or so months we’ve undergone some pretty massive changes in the foundation of our fandom.

But we’ve dealt with it - on the whole - as compassionate humans.

I think many people were surprised when the majority of the fandom said “Hell no” and dumped Gaiman due the overwhelming evidence of the gruesomely horrendous abuse he inflicted on who-knows-how-many individuals.

We have continued the fandom in Sir Terry’s name, with the hard work and dedication of Rob & Rhianna and reclaimed the space.

We’ve denounced the other party and their actions- probably to the disappointment and dismay of many.

We proved that we stand by our viewpoints no matter what.

And I’m so damn proud of us.
