This artwork makes my heart so happy! They are perfectly casted for these roles. David & Michael bring so much richness and depth to our Ineffables. We are just lucky to witness it ✨

✨first time trying to draw camp pioneers and soho's resident queer cryptids bc I've been obsessed with them lately 😌✨
based on that classic photoshoot of david tennant and michael sheen from season 1! probably done before (and better!!) but I wanted to figure out how to draw their faces and outfits (ngl harder than I thought, still not perfect 🫠)

All. The. Emotions. 🥺🥹😭
May the entire cast and crew know that the fandom is wrapping them in so much love. Here's to seeing our Angel & Demon again on screen, the hard fought gift of an ending. ✨
The final, feature-length episode began filming five weeks ago at a Scottish studio with David Tennant and Michael Sheen.
The final, feature-length episode of Amazon Prime’s Good Omens is wrapping in Scotland, following a five-week shoot.

Even David calls his own BS about not inviting Michael 🤭 Undoubtedly one of his favorite people to work with.

Aziraphale puts his faith in Crowley, because it's the only place it's ever been safe.
Sometimes I think about the Job minisode and how it implies that Aziraphale has more faith in Crowley than in Her.
Because after Aziraphale discovers Crowley didn't kill the goats he practically dares him to smite the children. He bets their lives on Crowley being Good. Aziraphale doesn't play chicken, he's too cautious to do that.
He trusts Crowley's plan more than he does The Great Plan. (Or at least heaven's definition of it)
When Aziraphale lies and swears on his word as an angel, he already accepted that he would Fall to protect these children. His love for humanity is almost blasphemous, and so is his faith in Crowley

i actually feel like the bamfiest aziraphale moment that isn't getting enough love is the "you came to me. i said i would protect you. and i will." like hoooly shit. it's brave in a quiet way, in a kind way. and the way it's delivered too, it really feels like for a brief moment i got to see all the way through his soul to its shining core. anyone gif that bit?

Let's Balance Your Ying & Yang
Oh I can help restore the balance with David's smiles!

So, Apple decided to make these two into an album on my iPhone. 😂🤣😁
It chose mostly pics of David and Michael, with some Aziraphale and Crowley.
I guess I save a lot of pics of them. 😁😁
They seem to favor pics of Michael looking at David. 🤣😂

🌻 The Secret Sultry Shot 🌻
Tumblr media
Which editor at Vera decided to keep this photo out of the print?! Pure Insanity. Was it because they knew the power it held? Too sensual for the high fashion vibe? Every bit of this is delicious. A veritable feast for the eyes. He's absolutely stunning. ❤️‍🔥

Crowley is Soft.
You can even see the regret in his eyes about having to follow Hell's orders.
He never meant to Fall, after all.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This moment.
I'm assuming he can't see very well through the helmet, because when he locks eyes with Aziraphale he looks taken aback for a moment before his eyes soften.
His eyes completely betray him, no wonder he wears the glasses.

The Rescued Ninety🪽
A team of guardian angels (and probably demons too) fought behind the scenes to save this story so that the Final Fifteen wasn't the finale. They pulled off a miracle with these Rescued Ninety minutes, for Terry and for the Ineffable Fandom.
Tumblr media
We need to show them that their fight was worth it to us! Support & uplift those that went to battle. This fandom is incredible because we love so deeply. Its okay to grieve for what we lost within an entire season AND still appreciate what we have now with a feature film, what was saved. Don't let the grieving turn us hateful. I just want a chance at pure happiness for Aziraphale & Crowley - together, free, and phenomenally acted by David & Michael. We'll have this now!
Tumblr media
These Rescued 90 minutes mean the world to me and I'm eternally grateful to every being that made this possible. A proper finale, and with that:
▪︎ Red locks and white curls in January
▪︎ Michael's angelic glow and David's sinful saunter one last time
▪︎ Their perfect chemistry and deep care for Aziracrow
▪︎ Aziraphale and Crowley on their side - blissfully and unashamedly in love. An Us.
▪︎ A Bentley, a bookshop, a kiss, and a cottage
▪︎ A press tour with so many beautiful moments of laughter, tears, excitement, and passion.
Good Omens 3 is a movie born out of Love. And I am going to love on it so fn hard! Who's with me?
Tumblr media
To the World. To Our World.
I get that people are in the thick of their emotions rn, but I hope they’ll chill and focus on the fact that the Rob, Rhianna, and others apparently pulled off a successful Orpheus-and-Eurydice caper. The show was cancelled. And now it isn’t. Instead of angrily tweeting at Amazon about the format change, or pushing petitions demanding a full season, it’s probably a way better idea to express our gratitude and support for this very unlikely compromise that all involved are putting their own names and money on the line in order to bring to us.

Today, Prime Video announced that it has confirmed that the global, fan-favorite series Good Omens will return for a third and final season. They have confirmed, as follows:
• The third season will comprise of one 90 minute episode starring Michael Sheen and David Tennant who return as the angel Aziraphale and demon Crowley, respectively. • Prime Video is delighted to bring its global customers a gripping conclusion to the ineffable journey between Aziraphale and Crowley. • Production is expected to begin in early 2025 in Scotland and the third season will premiere on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide. • The forthcoming season will bring to life a serendipitous conversation from almost 35 years ago, between the late Sir Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman, where they mapped out “what happens next” to the wonderful characters in the world of their internationally best-selling novel. • The first season of Good Omens launched globally as a limited series on Prime Video in May 2019, and became a worldwide hit. This led to the series being renewed for a second season, which premiered in July 2023, and explored storylines that went beyond the original source material to illuminate the ineffable friendship between Aziraphale (Michael Sheen), a fussy angel and rare-book dealer, and the fast-living demon Crowley (David Tennant). • Rob Wilkins of Narrativia, representing Terry Pratchett’s estate, as well as BBC Studios Productions’ head of comedy Josh Cole will executive produce. Good Omens is based on the well-loved novel Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch by Sir Terry Pratchett and Gaiman. The new season is produced by Amazon MGM Studios, BBC Studios Productions, and Narrativia. • While Gaiman has contributed to the writing of the Good Omens series finale, he will not be working on the production.
Tumblr media
my musings:
Shouldn't it have been a series of six episodes?
It should have yeah. It should have been 6 episodes so the seasons would make 666, now it's 661.
Is Neil Gaiman involved?
According to the press he will not be working on it as such though he "contributed to the writing", I mean the third season is based on what he and Terry had outlined together and he started to write into the scripts so I guess it couldn't be done without?
Tell me some good news
uuuuh, *racks my brain*
It is not cancelled completely (like OFMD for example :(), so we still might get the cottage?
Since there will be less of it then there will also be less post production and we might get it sooner?
Ta-da. (sorry)
And

Remember: you don’t have to choose.
You can be grateful that we are getting an on-screen, canon completion to Good Omens, AND devastated that the time we had anticipated getting to spend with our favorite idiots has been slashed by 75%.
You can acknowledge how close the series obviously came to being canned entirely and give a sigh of relief, AND weep for the storylines and flashbacks that will be chiseled away or cut entirely.
You can logically accept that a good movie can accomplish a hell of a lot in ninety minutes, and Good Omens will have a massive leg-up because all of the establishing elements are already there and they can basically jump right into the action, AND feel disappointment and sorrow — grief, honestly — for the loss of what we have been anticipating for so long.
Good and bad, light and shadow, joy and pain — they aren’t mutually exclusive. One does not cancel out the other. They can coexist…and sometimes they must. Don’t try to stamp out one side or the other, either in your own heart or in someone else.
Feel your big feelings. Give them space to breathe. Feelings are neutral; it’s what you do with them that counts.
So hang in there. We’re all in this together 💛
