i’m thinking a lot about jun-ho and how he’s obviously the more morally sound one of the hwang brothers - and yet there’s an edge to him too . he does things in favour of ‘doing the right thing’ but his methods aren’t exactly lawful , especially for a cop . when he first infiltrates the game in s1 he kills a guard to avoid being caught and obtain their uniform and mask, he disposes of the body to cover it up. he goes rogue , he kills more guards on the island . none of this is with the permission of his superiors, it’s all to find his brother. then in s2 we see him breaking and entering , barely batting an eye at finding the salesman’s body and then he up and quits his job to run around with black market weapons with a bunch of shady mercs to pursue his brother once more . he’s a good guy in the sense he has no desire to hurt people or see them suffer but even he is moving towards the grey area of morality at times , he plays it fast and loose with the law he’s supposed to uphold , he’s constantly toeing the line of vigilantism .
