When I started playing Oblivion a couple years ago (December 2023) I hyperfixated on it so hard that I was playing for at least 10 hours every day. That's a common occurrence for me, and would usually be considered normal (in my case at least), except for I was taking very short breaks every 10 minutes to each a ton of flavor blasted extra cheddar goldfish. Because of that, for a while whenever I played Oblivion I would get a soul crushing craving for that specific type of goldfish. When I told my friend about this he said "you pavlov'd yourself with goldfish." I haven't been able to stop thinking about this the past few days.
