Member Applications Open!

Hello everybody! In light of INFINITE’s 7th anniversary on top of their fast approaching comeback, we decided to re-open member applications for the network. Applications will be open from Sunday 4th June until Saturday 17th June. 

If you are interested in becoming a member, please see the rules below:

we would like it if your blog is 80% INFINITE or more - it’s okay to be multifandom, but please only apply if youpost a lot of INFINITE regularly

please follow inspirits-only so you can be up-to-date with the network members’ content

please make sure your blog is active! we don’t necessarily mean hundreds of posts a day, but at least some weekly posts ~

I wasn’t gonna answer this, but then I decided to just blank out your fandom’s name and group’s name to save you further embarrassment - you are already known for being one of the worst fandoms out there and 90% of any negative comments I ever get on this blog are from your fandom with no provocation whatsoever. 

I’m here, with my INFINITE blog, trying to mind my own freaking business and blog about my favourite group. I’m not here to engage in stupid fanwars or to seek out other group’s blogs and send hate messages to them. That’s not what I’m in this for. I’m here to support INFINITE and spread love for them. 

I’m not multi-fandom. I don’t put in this much effort or spend this much time or money on any other groups but INFINITE. I don’t care enough about other groups. So no, I’m not going to support another group (which is what you asked me to do yesterday), especially when their fandom likes to promote their group on INFINITE’s videos and live streams. It’s rude af. Learn your place, please. 

I think the worst thing about this is, that even though I blanked out your fandom and group name, everyone is gonna know what they are anyway because your reputation is that bad. Think on your behaviour, and how your faves would feel if they knew you were all going around disrespecting their seniors like this all the damn time. INFINITE are “nugus”? You have to be freaking joking…

I don't get the golden disk award. Is infinite joining or not? Or are there another golden disk award on the 14?

The Golden Disk Award take place on two days. Today was Day 1 and likewise tomorrow will be Day 2. Infinite are confirmed to attend it and we will see them tomorrow. Since they are invited, they will perform and hopefully win a Bonsang. Hope this explains your question.

do you think infinite is going to disband?? their contracts are expiring this year and woollim's announcement about debuting a new boy group and girl group is worrying me :(

I actually got a similar ask to this about a week ago, and here is my answer. But to briefly tell you what I said to the other anon:

INFINITE’s contract is up for renewal in 2017, as are many other groups who debuted in 2010. Usually a contract for an idol is 5-7 years (with 7 now being the maximum). A second contract after renewal is usually for a shorter period. It does depend on the company though (some SM contracts before the rules changed were up to 10 years or disbandment). INFINITE have reached 7 years since debut in 2017, and so it’s time for contract renewal in June.

Because INFINITE have faired pretty well with Woollim and are at a stable place in their careers, I think it is highly likely that they will renew. There have been no real scandals related to their treatment by the company and no rumours of members wanting to leave. I think we can rest assured that they will continue on as seven, under Woollim Ent.

Even though Woollim are planning a new project, which is rumoured to be a new boy and new girl group, that doesn’t mean INFINITE are going to disband. Think of it this way: INFINITE are Woollim’s biggest money-makers and most successful group. In a sense, INFINITE are Woollim - the infinity symbol is even incorporated into Woollim’s official logo. 

Without Woollim we would have no INFINITE, but it works the other way around too. Without INFINITE Woollim would never have reached the point they are at today where they can debut new groups. Without INFINITE, Woollim would not have the nice new building they use now, or the NIT cafe. 

At the end of the day, Woollim are running a business. With the INFINITE members getting older, it is drawing closer to the time the eldest members will enlist for military service. It makes sense from a business stand point to debut new groups and work on new projects while they still have time to improve them and make them successful before INFINITE isn’t whole (I know that sounds sad and upsetting but the truth is, it’s very likely that members will go to the military at a staggered rate and not all at once). That way, they are still generating an income while their most successful group isn’t promoting as a full unit.

Guys give it a rest, will you? Infinite will always be forever 7 no matter if they are going to the military!!

First of all, this might come out boring but I want you all to know that no matter what goes in between the 7 boys, the love they have and gave to each will always find them a solution. So I beg you guys to stop threatening them. They love Inspirit as much as we love them. They won't break a part even if gyu enlisted. It'll only be 2 years and who knows we might see a new side of infinite! Guys, don't give them a hard time and let's keep on supporting them. I'm okay with some fan going bizarre over some rumors about gyu enlistment but is it necessary to used this "leaving fandom" excuse thing? I want to keep my feeling to myself so I won't offend anyone but it have became too much! Instead of using it in a negative ways, fan should have used it into a positive way by sending more love and support for him. Don't you feel like you're giving all the blame to him? What would infinite feel like when they know that you're abandoning them because of this? It's not cool, guys. You should stop making such a big deal out of everything. This is meant to harm anyone but I'm just trying to explain to all fans out there that infinite love us as much as we love them and they don't wanna see us breaking apart because of some rumors! INSPIRIT STAY STRONG!!! This was written in response to this request. Truth be told this is the first time I’ve written about them going against each other so I had to write it in Gyu’s perspective because I feel like I know how he would react better (hehe). Enjoy~

He was attracted to petite ones, who dressed in skirts and styled their hair in pigtails because he thought it was cute. Sungkyu’s ideal type was the complete opposite. For starters, he was only into women. A mature lady has always been his weakness - someone strong and independent, yet would go to him if she ever had any troubles or if she simply had a bad day. He went over it a hundred times in his head; their ideal types were just too different.
