Currently thinking about you being Levis nurse while he’s in the hospital post war recovering from his surgeries, getting physical therapy. Befriending Gabi and Falco who visit him frequently, bringing him fresh clothes, books, hygiene stuff. You’re with Levi a lot more than your other patients, maybe you’re assigned to care for him almost as excessively (for the sake of the daydream) and you manage to get Levi to talk to you, about whatever he’s comfortable with sharing. It’s mostly you talking about your life, your family, hobbies, while he listens and occasionally comments, offers an anecdote of his own. He becomes attached to you, he tries to fight it, saying you’re just doing your job, you don’t actually care about it him, but you’ve grown quite fond of him and you don’t wanna see him go. Levi also doesn’t want to stop seeing you after he’s discharged. Gabi picks up on that so she suggests you visit him.

And so you do. Every now and then you pop by his new home (again for the sake of the plot lets just say he was given a place to stay for stopping the rest of the bit of humanity left to be crushed) and the visits grow frequent and the stays get longer. To the point where you don’t leave, your things are now next to his. You make his days more bearable. You’re patient, understanding, kind, more than he deserves he thinks but that’s nonsense, it comes so easily for you to love him and care for him.
