“I think right about now is when I ask you for your name,” Anita demanded as she stood within the walls of her late husband’s room, “And don’t give me some lame like John or Billy…your real name…there’s no reason to lie in Westhaven.”

Luke arches his brow at her demand. He doesn’t answer her right away; he hates being told what to do. Instead, he eyes the room they’re both standing in. Feet move to a nearby dresser that is cluttered with photos. ❝ Do people lie about their names to you often? ❞ His tone is amused -- distracted -- as he leans in slightly to take a closer look at one of the pictures.

outoftwins; hey guys, sorry for being quiet. i have family in town and this coming week is spring break so i’ll be out of town for the next 4 days. i don’t know if i’ll have time ( or internet access ) to do replies while i’m away but i will get to them when i get back. in the meantime, if anyone would like to plot or anything, feel free to message me ! i will be mobile the whole time i’m away.

Mark is better at playing nice, but Luke pulls on a smile and does his best imitation. ❝ Well-- where are you trying to go? ❞

      ❝    tame ?    ❞  she emits a hushed a laugh.  (  he obviously hadn’t seen what she saw in gloria’s room !  )  there’s a stale after taste of beer on her tongue as she attempts to focus her eyes on him. as naive as she is, imogen can’t deny the peculiar feeling in her gut about him. her right hand unconsciously slides inside her purse as she feels for the reassurance of a can of pepper spray. though, she was known for giving everyone the benefit of the doubt so with a gentle smile, she stands her ground,  ❝    c’mon then, walk me home.    ❞ 

      the smile lingers on his face, but luke can feel the heat of annoyance prickling at the back of his neck. if her idea of wild was the party she just came from, then CLEARLY she needs to learn how to have a little fun. ❝ you’re going home? but the night is still  y o u n g. ❞ but he takes the invitation to move closer as eyes flutter to her purse where her hand has disappeared into. what does she have in there, a gun? doubtful. it’s probably something annoying, like pepper spray. nothing he can’t handle. any trace of anger is gone from his face when luke catches her gaze again. ❝ any chance i can convince you to stay out just a little longer? ❞

He missed her? She didn’t even know that was possible. Coming forward, she brings him into a warm embrace, “I’m glad you are okay. How’ve you been?” she questions before withdrawing from the hug to get a proper look at his face once again.

His original comment had been in jest, but when Vera moved closer to pull him into an embrace, he realized it had been the truth. It surprises him and he’s thankful she can’t see his face. ❝ Better. Now. ❞ He admits with a flash of his usual smile as he lets her check him out for a beat. ❝ Getting shot is no joke, though. ❞
