of all days to be running late, brooks had to choose an EARLY MORNING call. dragging himself out of bed had been torture enough – enduring the pre-work-rush rush had effectively siphoned every last ounce of enthusiasm the makeup artist fostered for the long day ahead. the icing on the cake? brooks made it across the lot, heavy makeup case in tow, only to realize he’d left his key card in his other jacket pocket. at HOME. rather than admit complete defeat, brooks leaned his forehead against the fence separating him from the studio.  “ hey! ”  he called out to someone passing by on the other side. he cast them a soft smile, one he hoped might nudge at their GENEROUS SPIRIT.  “ what if i told you there was a way for you to be an   absolute doll   and  make a pretty boy’s day all in one go? ”

          night black louboutins clicking against asphalt, ingrid was definitely early to her hair and makeup call. it was never a crime to be prompt, in her opinion, and getting the ritual poking and prodding of her face done earlier was always better. the voice that called out to her, however, was one of the last things she wished to encounter this early in the morning. with a swift about-face, ingrid shot daggers at the voice on the other side of the gated lot. she tilted her head at his proposition, striding closer and closer with every other syllable that spilled from his lips. of course, with her id tucked neatly in her wallet, she could easily let him into the studios, but what fun would that be? it’s not every day the opportunity to play god came pounding on her doorstep, and so she seized the moment.  leaning her entire weight into the cold embrace of the diamond-patterned barrier, the blonde pressed her tongue against the inside of her cheek with a bemused smile.    ‘   i would tell you calling me a doll is an insult to my iq.   ’  ingrid developed a peculiar interest toward her nails, glancing over the fresh french manicure in order to avoid his gaze.  ‘   but then, how could i efend standing here and watching you suffer through the situation you got your pretty little self into ? ’
