She nodded at him. "Definitely can be. I mean, they do have cheap ones where they don't get apps but you can still make calls and stuff." She shrugged. "At least at Walmart they do." She had noticed them before when she had gone there last and she was sure other places had them too. There was a relief that went through her when he confirmed he wasn't a tourist, but raised her eyebrow as he said that he grew up there. "Really? Who are you?" @arlocontreras

"I did miss music on the go." Arlo agreed, his eyes meeting the others as he nodded. Sometimes he felt like his life were simpler when he was traveling the world; no people to talk to constantly, no one to check in with. It was just him, his bags and his travels taking on the world. "I definitely don't want to get myself back in the habit of doom scrolling, but, I guess I should still keep up with it. It was kind of expensive." he laughed, looking back at the other as they asked if he was a tourist. "I'm not. At least I don't think so." he shrugged. "I grew up in Kismet Harbor but I've been done since eighteen. I returned only just recently so if that doesn't make me a tourist then no I am not." @pruenakamura

"You know me so well." Prue grinned at her and then looked back at her phone so that they could find somewhere for them to stay on Valentine's Day. "Plus, it should just be us anyways." She winked and kept looking. "Seems like there's a place that's like a cabin and has a hot tub. Looks like it's two hundred for the night." @reneexthompsxn

"I thought you might," she smiled as Prue pulled out her phone to help her look too," for the right price, I don't mind having a whole home." They certainly would not need it just for the two of them but often times it was better to have more space than not enough. "I'd rather have a whole home to ourselves than get stuck sharing a space with someone, honestly." That part of renting a place for a little trip had made Renee uneasy. @pruenakamura

"Hey, nothing wrong with that. If it wasn't for my girlfriend and the convenience of music on the go, I don't think I'd pay attention to mine either." Prue said honestly. As much as she doom scrolled, she was sure that she would be better off without her phone for the most part. "You're welcome." She laughed a little. "I can't say I have, but I know a few people who have. It seems to be sketchy tourists that do that kind of thing." She paused. "Shit, you're not a tourist, are you?" @arlocontreras

"Oh yeah, I feel I'm probably one of those people that doesn't pay enough attention to my phone as I should." he shrugged, placing it into his pocket without even checking it. He was still getting used to having a phone again from spending so many years without one; so this was still all new to him. "I appreciate it." he smiled. "Both that you were kind enough to give it back to me and that you didn't consider pawning it." he laughed. "Though you say that like you've had that happen to you and now I wanna know if there's a story there." he questioned. @pruenakamura

She couldn't help the grin that crossed her face as she saw Renee blush. It was probably the one of the cutest things she ever saw. She was so in love with her girlfriend and there was still that disbelief that they were even together. "I love the way you think." She said and leaned into Renee as she pulled her own phone out of her pocket and started to help look. "There's some Airbnbs near the winery in Newberg. They all look like homes though." @reneexthompsxn

Renee's cheeks flushed as Prue pressed a kiss to one of them. She didn't want to get used to the fact that they were together. The instant butterflies, the way her lips always curled into a smile when she was around, she didn't want to lose that. "Okay," she nodded her head as she scrolled through the options. "I think we can work with that." Oregon had no shortage of remote feeling locations with the ability to be a hop and skip away from civilization. "Maybe one that's near a winery or something." @pruenakamura

"Just was I want it to be." She grinned over at her and leaned in to press a kiss to Renee's cheek. Now that she had her, she was never going to let her go. Renee was the love of her life and she was going to make sure to never lose her. Prue watched as her girlfriend pulled up an Airbnb site and she looked over the options with her. "Definitely one with a jacuzzi. And like I said, a fireplace." She said and looked it over. "And while I like remote cabin in the woods, I don't want it too far away so maybe we can explore a small town or something. Go out for dinner." @reneexthompsxn

"No," she shook her head at Prue, "I can promise you that isn't going to happen. You're stuck with me for life," it was a promise that Renee knew either one of them could break because they were young but at the same time, it was the truth for her. "A cabin it is," she smiled at the other, pulling out her phone to open up the Airbnb application, "maybe one with a jacuzzi?" She questioned, "Any other amenities you want?" @pruenakamura

"You're welcome." She said and smiled as he took it. "That's better than me I guess. I would've noticed the second I got outside." Mainly because she would've been about to text her girlfriend or put on some music for her drive to wherever she was going next. "And hey, at least someone returned it to you instead of going to pawn it for money ore something." Prue pointed out with a smile. @arlocontreras

Arlo had gotten a text from someone at work nearly half an hour ago that the co-worker he was supposed to be meeting there had blown him off for the third time that week, which had left him a little heated. He'd finished his sandwich, left a tip - which had been a hefty tip for keeping them waiting for his company that never arrived - and had left, clearly eager to get back to his place so he could destress and decompress without looking like the bad guy for being upset that something had come up. What he hadn't noticed in his attempt to get out of there was that he'd left his phone behind. He was standing on the sidewalk, digging in his pocket for his keys when he heard someone speaking, and he turned around. He was an observant guy so he was usually on the lookout for people who looked or sounded distressed, but thankfully when he did turn around all he saw was someone extending their hand to hand him a phone. "Oh, wow, thanks." he spoke. Truthfully he was still getting used to even carrying this thing around as he'd gone so many years traveling without one. "I don't know if I would've ever even realized that thing was missing." @pruenakamura

"You should." She encouraged her friend to start planning a trip with her boyfriend. Prue was honestly excited to do a getaway with her girlfriend. "That's great. I'm glad you guys are doing good. Otherwise I'd give him hell at D&D." She teased a little bit, but ready to do so if needed. "I bet. Did you guys do anything for New Year's?" @loganxwalker

"I'm not surprised that you do," Logan laughed lightly with the other's admittance. It had been the talk of the town and honestly, Logan admired how brave that Prue had been. As much as she loved and cared for Matt, she didn't think she'd have the guts but she had never been in a situation like Prue, so maybe she'd surprise herself. "Awh, that's so sweet." She smiled, "And a great idea," she told Prue, "maybe I will pitch that to Matt." They hadn't talked about it, yet. "Things are great with us," a smile continued to rest against her lips, "I'm glad to be starting a new year with him," even if they hadn't been dating terribly long thus far, "he's really great." @pruenakamura

"Of course I do." She told her with a smile. How could she not feel that way? She was finally with the woman she had feelings for since high school and she would forever feel that any day was the best day. "Me? I'm scared I'm gonna wake up and this will all be in my head." She thought about that every day and was so glad that it hadn't happened. This was real and she couldn't have been more happy. "We do." She agreed and smiled as she listened to her girlfriend talk. "Hmm both would be good. We could go to a cabin and cuddle by the fire. The beach isn't too warm anyways right now so I think a cabin I think would be perfect." @reneexthompsxn

Renee smiled at Prue's words, feeling the warmth of her hand on her arm. "I'm so glad you feel that way." She told her girlfriend in response with a gentle voice as she looked at her. "You make everything feel like a dream," and honestly, she never wanted to wake up. "We deserve something special, just the two of us," she responded to the other, "I was thinking maybe somewhere cozy and peaceful, like a cabin in the mountains?" It wasn't like Renee had a crazy amount of debt, actually, none at all with her lack of college, "Or if you're feeling more adventurous, we could get a beachside place, down in California," she smiled at she met Prue's eyes. Prue walked outside her trailer and squinted as the afternoon sun hit her eyes. She had gone to bed early that morning and set her alarm for that afternoon so she wouldn't forget that she was meeting Renee that night and it gave her some time to wake up. She had a cup of coffee in hand and she sit it on the banister as she pulled out a cigarette and lit it. She enjoyed the first puff for a second before she looked over and smiled as she saw Courtney. "Hey." She waved to her. "Busy day?"

Prue followed her friend inside and she grinned while rolling her eyes as the topic of her and Renee came up. "You and the whole town. I still get phone calls about it while doing the radio show." She commented as they walked deeper into the aquarium. "We're great. We're planning a trip for Valentine's Day." She smiled over at Logan. Prue and Logan had become friends since Logan moved to Kismet Harbor, but she had not seen the woman in a while. "Okay," she started, paying for their tickets as they stepped into the aquarium, "I have to say I heard about your and Renee's love confession and I honestly talked to Matt about it for an entire week. I was obsessed with it," she laughed, shaking her head, "How are you two doing?" She questioned, stepping further into the aquarium so that they could begin their walk through it. "Did you get to spend Christmas together?"

"Me too." Prue said happily as she sat with her girlfriend. It was still so crazy to think about that Renee was actually her girlfriend. It felt like a dream she was going to wake up from at any minute and she just wanted to stay in it forever. "It was the best Christmas ever." She agreed again and rubbed Renee's arm as she talked; raising an eyebrow. "A weekend getaway for Valentine's?" She had never really celebrated Valentine's Day before. Not since she was a kid and forced to in school, but now she had someone to celebrate with and she did want to do just that. "Anywhere you're thinking?" @reneexthompsxn

Life was good, which actually was an understatement. Since Prue confessed her feelings in the middle of Cedar Grill and Lounge after abandoning the radio show to do so, Renee's life had been amazing. "I am glad we have a night off together." It didn't happen often, but when it did, they made sure to make the most of their time. "I know I've said it before, but I really loved that we got to spend Christmas together and as a couple," they always ended up seeing each other on the holidays but this year was different. "Do you want to go away for Valentine's Day this year?" Renee questioned, pivoting to the next holiday.

Prue was just finishing up lunch and was texting Renee for a moment before she put her phone down and looked around the place. It was decently busy for a Monday in winter so she wasn't the only one in the place. As she got out some cash to pay, she noticed a guy across the way doing the same and he got up and left. Just looking at his table, she noticed his phone there and she quickly paid and grabbed her things before going over to get the phone and following the guy out. "Hey!" She called out as she jogged over to him. "You forgot your phone in there."

"I mean, don't you guys have mermaids that swim in the tanks?" She said with a smirk and took another drag of her cigarette. "Plus, we swim in the same water in lakes and the ocean so..." She shrugged and flicked the end of her cigarette. to let the ash fall. "Sounds like me with the record store." Tyler nodded with a smirk "That is true" he nodded. "Besides swimming in any of the tanks," he nodded. "I don't care what you do to yourself, but a human getting into the waters can hurt the animals." If it was the fish or something bigger, it would happen. "but pretty much they just want people to come mostly" so it wasn't closed a lot. He nodded as he looked back at it. " I visited a lot as a kid, worked as a teenager, and now I am here." Looking back at the earrings, she pursed her lips as she was thinking. "You don't think it's too cheesy? Or impersonal?" She asked curiously as she looked back up at the man. She'd probably get Renee a lot more seeing that she had no one else to buy for, but she wanted to perfect gifts. "Should I get something else?"

Lance was glad that he had finished all his Christmas shopping and the last gift was arriving in a few days, a week before Christmas. Lance was lucky but he decided to look around and get something just incase the gift got delayed. The teacher was looking through the booth, finding it hard to decide what to get when he looked at the other. "If I was, I would totally want to get these from my girlfriend for sure. You have wonderful taste, it's really beautiful," he answered. @pruenakamura

She nodded. "Honestly should've just did the same. I didn't mean to be this prepared." She usually wasn't the type, but the prospect of doing photography got the better of her. "Other than selfies and some of my friends, I haven't really done it. Learning more about it seemed interested though." She said before nodding. "Yeah, I don't think I've put any in an album ever. My mom did." She had some from when she was alive, but since then, none had been entered into an album. "They're all in boxes somewhere in place." She shrugged and sat back. "We really are. Creatures of habit or something like that." @mabelxhughes

"That's very kind, but I don't have a camera to use one for. I was just going to use my phone or something." Mabel smiled, knowing that she came over as unprepared. She just didn't have the funds to buy herself a camera. She would just use her money on her son, especially since college grew closer. "I love taking photos. Having to move over all the photo albums was quite the challenge, but we made it." A short laugh escaped her, knowing that it was definitely no lie. She documented every little thing of her life since she left Kismet all those years ago, and she was glad for it. It gave her a chance to show it all to Jeremy, from pregnancy photos to Caleb growing up to where they grew up. It really was something. "Nothing like capturing a moment that's in your life, right? Prue laughed softly, nodding in agreement. "Seriously, it’s like the world’s trying to trick us into spending more for the same thing. I mean, it’s just water, right?" She paused, glancing at the shelves around them. "And don’t even get me started on the whole fancy packaging thing. It’s like they think if they slap a pretty label on it, we’ll pay anything. But hey, I get it—looks do sell." She smirked, then her tone softened again. "People are ridiculous."

"I mean, they’ve definitely got the right idea. Snow's a good excuse to close up, but anything else? We just keep going." She took another drag from her cigarette before nodding. "Sounds like you’ve got some good memories of this place." Just like she did growing up. "Is that why you work here now?" @tylerxday

He nodded then smirked "It's what they say the rules are" he shook his head "I think it's just their way to say its always open" just if it some how did snow it would close for sure, but the rain and winter cold they did not close it. But he knew it never did snow but the place had their rules in place if it did happen.
