I WON’T LOSE”. the 18 year old can probably be found PETTING CATS AROUND INABA. home is the PERSONA verse, but i hope they enjoy the open worlds available.

first and foremost, this blog may contain potentially triggering content due to the nature of the character and the source. these potential triggers are murder, manipulation (inflicted onto yu, not by him) and most commonly, religion. everything will be tagged if it comes up.

yu’s parents are turbulent jetsetters from tokyo, japan. they’re partners in business and co-ceos of a tech company headquarted in the united states, so he doesn’t see them much. they aren’t cruel to him, but they were absent from his childhood and as a result he’s developed a grudge towards them.

when yu was sixteen, he came to live with his uncle ryotaro dojima and his cousin nanako in the sleepy riverside town of inaba. in inaba, trains only came by once every hour and there was nothing to do except walk or worship at the shrine. even inaba’s residents seemed to be sick of the town. however, yu and three of his classmates quickly discovered the midnight channel, a world inside the television in which they fought inner demons known as shadows with manifestations of their own personalities (personas). access to the midnight channel was limited only to persona users, and soon enough after serial murders began in inaba it was deduced that anyone who showed up on the tv at midnight would be killed.

it’s been two years since then, and yu narukami has merged with the remnants of the dead goddess izanami, essentially making him a god in this new world.
