i dont want to spread the post bc the OP is clearly going thru a lot rn but just gonna say “uwuwwuwuwu always support survivors!” stuff doesnt mean shit if youre gonna discredit someones accusation of abuse just bc the abuser is a celebrity you like. accusing a celebrity (even a small one) of abuse can and does RUIN the victims life- being put in the spotlight, having your abuse questioned and ridiculed, gaining the hatred of the celebrities fans that can make you unsafe. the costs of making a false accusation massively outweigh any benefits. there is no justification for your first instinct being to discredit a victim rather than listening to their story.

demanding proof from an abuse victim is heartless and evil! not every abuse victim is going to have “receipts” available, abuse is often incredibly difficult to prove, and you aren’t entitled to the details of someone else’s trauma! especially in instances of csa, when your brain often literally suppresses your memories as a defense mechanism…. please have some fucking compassion and stop asking people to retraumatize themselves to help you.

According to researchers, coordinated critics have mounted a “misinformation campaign designed to purposefully fabricate doubt regarding the harmful impacts of outdoor cats and stymie policies that would remove outdoor cats from the landscape.”
The conflict stems from a groundbreaking study published in 2013 by scientists from the Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. That study evaluated the combined impact of the tens of millions of outdoor cats in the United States. The authors found that roaming outdoor cats kill approximately 2.4 billion birds every year and are the leading source of direct, human-caused mortality to birds in the country. Similar results have since been confirmed in Canada and Australia.
