American media and the likes of ADL are insulting our intelligence by claiming this is not a nazi salute.

When I start criticizing Trump’s presidency, I’m going to keep it 100 and say if you hated me when I was on Biden’s neck, don’t follow me. I’m so fucking serious when I say I hate you motherfuckers. You pretentious hypocritical ass liberals need to stay the fuck away from me the next four years. Fuck you.

via NYPost: Immigration and Customs Enforcement is preparing to launch a “big f–king operation” across sanctuary cities — including Chicago and New York — immediately after President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration, multiple sources told The Post.
Starting Jan. 21, multi-day “ground operations” will be launched across cities that have served as safe havens for migrants because the local authorities do not cooperate with the federal government when it comes to immigration issues, sources said.

reminders for today:
if you or someone you know might need it in the next few years, purchase plan b. the shelf life of plan b is 4 years, and we might not be able to access it as easily as we can now in the days ahead.
if you are larger/plus size: go online and purchase ella instead of plan b. plan b is less effective if you aren’t under 160 pounds.
if you can, purchase books that project 2025 is looking to ban.
mass deportations are starting. if you see ice vehicles or agents, yell ice raid and la migra as loud as you can.
if someone asks who you voted for, keep your mouth shut. they’re fishing for traitors.
if anyone, anyone at all asks about your neighbors or their legal status in the us, you know nothing. don’t be the reason that their family is separated.
if anyone asks about your religion or lack thereof, keep it vague. this administration will look for any excuse to persecute you.
your friends are trans or queer? for the next four years they’re not. don’t expose anyone’s status as a trans or queer person to anyone else, even if you think you can trust them.
did someone you know get an abortion? no, they didn’t. they were never pregnant.
in short, don’t be a snitch, and keep to yourself these next four years. we’ll make it through this even if it seems hopeless at times.
this is all i can think of at the moment, but i’ll be adding on to this as the day continues.
we can survive this. we’ve survived before, and we’ll survive again.

What about when the police murder people in broad daylight and get away with it? That happens countless times. If the police can be investigated by their own buddies, then Luigi Mangione should be investigated by his own buddies too.

Luigi Mangione's lawyer is SO good
like, she didn't miss a beat in the arraignment, calling out the police, the perp walk, the mayor...
I hope this trial is televised tbh. i will not miss a second of it if it is
ETA: ANNNNDDD calling out the mayor for not using the word "alleged".. YES!
I get SOO annoyed whenever people complain about the media using the word "alleged", especially when there is video footage of the crime happening... people complain that it's some sort of media bias, and not like... straight up a VIOLATION OF A CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT if they don't say "alleged"
The presumption of innocence is a right. Luigi's rights have been violated repeatedly in this regard.
And possibly also his right to a fair trial, since they are creating SO MUCH bias against him

I straight up do not understand the logic behind people who say those doing “unskilled labor” don’t deserve a living wage. I do not give a damn if a CEO has a Harvard business degree and 15 years of experience. The world would collapse without warehouse workers but continue on without the big man at the top.

update: it's not exactly a copycat situation since 1) a few articles lied about erik denslow being a ceo when he's actually just the president of the company 2) erik denslow is still alive and expected to recover soon.
thank you to the folks that brought this to my attention. also, please keep your eyes on Nathan Mahoney. i think the reason this story isn't gaining much traction is due to police not wanting a repeat of applause (or further action) over a ceos demise by us, the people. do not allow this story to get swept under the rug, share it everywhere !

I was eleven when 9/11 happened and I refused to buy the WMD bullshit and told my schoolmate it was a slipshod pretext for the invasion when we were on the phone together. At age fourteen I marched on DC in a peaceful protest against the Iraq war with several hundred thousand attendees, and it received absolutely no coverage on the mainstream news at all apart from a single blurry photograph from a side street. I voted for Obama the first time hoping that Bush Jr & his associates would be prosecuted for crimes against humanity; Obama pardoned the rats on day one. Guantanamo remains open. I lost my faith in the entire process long before Trump took office, which has inured me to shock, to a certain extent. But to a great many people my own age and younger, the present state of affairs is very shocking. It shocks me, too, because I have not inured myself to atrocity. It is, however, business as usual for the warmongers and oil conglomerates that own the Senate and use the armies of the republic to protect their financial interests.

if american CEOs were killed at the same rate as schoolchildren, they would all be dead in a few months.
if american CEOs were killed at the same rate that police kill unarmed people, they would all be dead in a couple of weeks.
if american CEOs were killed at the same rate that life saving treatments were denied coverage, they would all be dead in seconds.
