Made some of my own potential Halloween dandy’s world event toons!

Common(Skeleton): Calc(for calcium) is the Halloween obsessed one of the group. He’s always giving other toons facts about Halloween! He’s Jackie’s best buddy!

Uncommon(Candle): Canda is the laid back one of the group. Shes just as interested in books as her cousin, Brightney! Though she may prefer horror games more.

Rare(Black cat): Lucky is the lazy member of the group, though he can be pretty active when he wants! He doesn’t seem to like Halloween as much as the others though. Probably cause black cats are seen as “bad luck”

Main(Jack-O-Lantern): Jackie is the big scary leader of the group always trying to stick to her role. Though she acts this way as she worries that she’s an outcast due to the fact that Halloween isn’t actually like the other holidays.

Calc is with Eggson and Coal in the idea of one toon being really close to the event main. Like how people HC that Eggson is Bassie’s dad and the fact that Coal is Bobette’s dog

Canda is with Flyte and Ginger in being biologically related to an existing toon.

Lucky is with Rudie and Cocoa in the animal theme.

Jackie is with Bobette and Bassie in the main having some sort of insecurity.

TRICK OR TREAT(passive): Everytime this Toon picks up a candy or treat, this Toon has a 70% chance of gaining the “better version” of said candy(Box-o-chocolates if you pick up a chocolate bar or pop bottle if you pick up a pop soda can)

MASTER OF DISGUISE(active): This Toon can quickly grab a spare costume, throwing it on one of her fellow toons to make them invisible to Twisteds for 10 seconds!

While I DID only draw 80s Doey(saw that comment where someone suggested calling him Doug and I honestly think it fits lol), I decided to draw 50s Doey and 90s Doey too! Also noticed that 50s Doey doesn’t got as many fans as 80s or 90s Doey so I drew his full body too

Found that ref art of him with the halo pretty interesting :D he’s very snazzy. I love his outfit

This has got to be my FAVORITE list of Doey HCs(HCs? I’m not sure) because it ACTUALLY makes sense to the lore and i COMPLETELY agree with ALL of this. This is EXACTLY how I see Doey!

so, i have some thoughts. i feel like the game doesn't explore doey much, so i'm gonna take that as an opportunity to stretch him a lil.

in short, i see him as neither one whole nor 3 kids in a trench coat, but something in the middle of the two: a grown up who never really got to experience a proper childhood, the 3 originals in a blend with each other.

the time between creation and game events likely is enough for them to learn how to cooperate (up until. yknow). collectively or individually though, goddamn they need therapy

point at neck: neck constantly bent in some fashion

Generally friendly and curious, may be more closed off and bitter if kevin is more dominant.

Collectively an adult due to passage of time and gaining experience, but still retains some more childish traits due to isolation from outside world and trauma, both collective and individual (holy shit do they need therapy).

Parts operate more or less seamlessly, but depending on situation some may show more or less of their traits.

When stressed, cooperation between parts may break down.

present strongest when angry, most of anger processing goes through him.

not actually angry/cranky all of the time though, just a bit more gruff/edgy compared to the other two. tends to show teeth when talking.

over the years learned to control his rage better, can redirect it into being a bit of a troll w/ the others

understandably, safe haven's destruction made him revert and lose all restraint, resulting in lashing out, mixed with extreme emotions from others.

Jack

loved doey strongest before conversion (rip), as such expressions tend to default to his

learned to cope with constantly fighting for survival by cracking jokes and being more optimistic

present strongest when happy, may speak more childishly when in distress or comfortable

reverts into reliving trauma of death and family loss with safe haven's destruction

Matt

present strongest when focused on the leader role, strikes a balance between kevin and jack

through time learned to focus more on necessary action rather than allowing to succumb to past guilt

definitely still very stressed out from responsibility, especially after poppy leaving, learned not to show it through cooperation with kevin and jack

safe haven's destruction just plunges him straight into a guilt spiral

Note pointing at bottom notes for each: safe haven's destruction is a massively traumatic event for them, resulting in the three regressing into child selves from distress, mixed in with emotions from individual traumatic memories

I have some questions for the decade of Joy AU. First of all how does the outside world view the toys like do they think they're all just mascots or something how are they effectively running this company? Second how did many of the toys now adjust to their freedom? Lastly have any of the newly turned scientists now toys try to escape the facility and will the player still be coming to the factory?

1. The toys use their real names around people from outside to lessen any suspicion about what has happened to the adults and scientists. In other words, yes. People think they’re mascots.

2. Many of the toys adjusted pretty early and some are even still exploring the facility, though, other toys like Doey are still a bit…messed up from the experimentation.

3. Yes, a few scientists have tried but none of them made it out as they’re all either immediately captured and turned into toys or are killed on sight.

4. Yes, the player DID come back, but sadly IS turned into a toy in the story. The same “player” toy that we play as in Project Playtime.

In your Decade of Joy AU, you clarified that it's not just scientists who became experiments, but also every adult in the vicinity which potentially INCLUDES innocent tourists and bystanders in Playtime Co.

Makes me wonder if they feel that these toys are truly in the right in this...
