宅８号は、公式設定の「記憶を失う前は優秀なオクタリアンの戦士だった」部分は無視して、軍人ではなく一般タコボーイに変えています。公式設定無視するの自分でも一番萎えるとこなんですが、マンガのエンディングから逆算したときハチベエが”ヒーローに憧れる普通の14歳の男の子”だった方が映えるかな〜〜〜という完全に自社都合です。ごっつぁんです。

優秀なオクタリアン戦士だったのは８号ではなくNo.8888だったことにしていますが、優秀であってもみんなミキサーにかけられたんだもんな〜と思うと、あんまりそこは重要視してないです。

訓練用ゾネススーツはネル社からの支給品として実験体はみんなこれを着ていたということにしています。みんなお揃いにすることで「大勢が犠牲になった」「犠牲になった実験体達はNo.10008と同じだった」部分を強調させて見せたかったので。これも描きたいシーンから逆算した結果なのですが妄想通りエンディングに良いシーンが描けました（自己満）
