whenever people try to say palestine doesn't have lgbt rights as some kind of gotcha it's crazy because like 3/4 of the people using this as a gotcha don't like lgbt people either. like if the implication is that palestinians deserve to die for not being broadly supportive of lgbt people but you don't support lgbt either then aren't you implying that you should also die for it

I am Mohammed Qassem, a Palestinian from Gaza. For more than 600 days, my family and I have been living in the nightmare of war. I lost my city, my work, and many of my loved ones.

What was once a simple and peaceful life is now a daily battle for survival. We are living a frightening war, surrounded by destruction. We don't have a constant source of food or clean water. Some days, we were able to share only one meal every two days. Imagine facing your hungry mother and siblings, and you have nothing - absolutely nothing - to offer.

I try to stay strong, but it's hard to keep hope alive when every day brings more suffering. Winter was merciless. Summer is worse. The sound of drones, the smell of smoke and the silence of the world around us has become our new reality.

I don't ask for luxury. Ask for basic human needs - food, shelter, medicine and a chance to start over. I'm my family's only source of hope, but even hope is hard to hold on to when your body is weak and your heart is tired

I think when you correctly identify a trauma that is the base of a woe of yours it should just disappear. It should be like "aaahh. you got me" and vanish and leave 100 dollars behind

fam we are so so so close to the home stretch of me not having to pay over $1200 in bills every month. eviction will put me in debt but at least ill be out of there fully. i havent had my wheelchair since december and the person keeping my cat at the moment lets him out even though i have begged her not to. one of her cats recently passed away due to her letting him outside and another had a rabies scare + people have tried to take him before because they thought he was a stray and i just. cant. deal anymore. with the fear. i love him so much and not being able to live with him has been heartbreaking

physical health shit and being in and out of the hospital is enough without having to add worrying about paying bills with money i don't have, being completely housebound, and my emotional support animal being in grave danger every day that goes by with him away from me. been in survival mode so long and EXTREMELY sick from progressive and life limiting chronic illnesses and i truly just need a break 💔
