Greetings Adventurers!

I want to start by saying thank you, once again, to everyone who has listened, shared, commented and otherwise supported our show thus far. As our first foray into podcast and audio drama production, we are honoured to have received such a positive and warm reception.

Now, for the announcement.

Episode 11, releasing on the 25th of June, will be the final episode for Season 1 of Calling All Adventurers.

We felt that it wraps up the Host's introductory arc neatly, and sets the stage for things to get bigger and worse.

We hope you feel the same, but once the episode releases, please do let us know! We love feedback <3

For Season 2, we're looking to improve the overall quality of the show, update some of the visuals, and expand the cast. We'll be announcing a casting call within the next couple of months, with more details about new characters and the payment structure.

Pre-production for Season 2 will start very soon and our aim is to schedule the launch for early January 2026.

We'd also like to collaborate with more amazing shows as we have done with @innbetween, especially in this interim period. We will be reaching out to many of you ourselves but it you would be interested in collaborating, please do drop us a message!

Real observations since I started wearing a wizard hat daily:

- Brim is so wide that I stay BONE DRY taking walks in the rain

- Brim can be positioned to block the sun from ever getting in my eyes AND keeping it off the back of my neck

- The pointed top part creates an air pocket, keeping my head from getting hot or squishing my hair as it might in a ball cap

- Hat can easily be pulled down over the tips of my ears without looking dumb, protecting them from wind chill

- Strangers say they like my hat, giving me the chance to tell them that I am a wizard

- When you’re wearing a wizard hat, ALL OTHER FASHION CHOICES become secondary, allowing you to branch out with style

Embrace ego death. Stay protected from all elements. Wear a wizard hat.

Ok so I just discovered that there isn't a tumblr presence for Lunaiira so I'm putting myself in charge of informing tumblr about this. I am in no way officially affiliated with the project, just really excited.

Lunaiira is a high fantasy musical audio-drama with all original music. It's planned to be eight episodes released for free so if you see this post way in the future it's likely available for you to go and binge right now!

However if you see this post now, then you should know the project is currently looking for backers on kickstarter! To quote their kickstarter page, the story is: "about power, love, and rebirth — featuring powerful femmes and folx of color, queer romance, and finding purpose in the face of oppressive systems."

The musical was written by two WoC and features a stacked cast of iconic voice actors (who are all being appropriately compensated btw bc ethical art matters). Voices you might recognise include: Benjamin Callins (The Dragon Prince), Brandon McInnis (EPIC, My Hero Academia & Demon Slayer) as well as Cristina Vee (Miraculous Ladybug).

I feel like politicians' insults about each other have really gone down hill. These days it's all "moron" and "loser", so childish. Think what you will of Paul Keating, but he gave us such gems as "he's a shiver waiting for a spine", "debating him is like being flogged with warm lettuce", "he's like a lizard on a rock: alive but looking dead", "he's all tip and no iceberg".

Where's the creativity these days?!

I've been meaning to do Inn Between group pictures for ages (I like to picture the Goblins Head having a wall like how restaurants have a wall of pictures of celebrities who've eaten there only it's all the adventuring parties the inn's taken a shine to)

Hopefully everyone's identifiable, it's a whole different kind of hard to try and draw fanart of folks who just don't HAVE canon designs, but this is more or less what they all look like in my head.
