If someone told the Jimin from several years ago, still struggling with his delicate features and petite form, that today he would not only embrace but love those sides of him!!!! I'm so proud 🥺

Could you tell me why I have to ship taekook to be in this fandom? Some people told me that the fandom hate jikook so I must to support taekook (I'm new) and they're trying to convince me that jimin is not a good person. (And jimin is my favorite for now 😭). I'm honestly trying to process the information you were given. I'm so sorry you had to hear that.

This is not the first time I come across this message about T*K being the default pair you need to ship. And, if we're fair, that alone would be okay. It's really common that a pair within a boygroup stands out more (tbh this isn't true anymore, KM is getting really popular nowadays).

Shipping different pairs is not wrong (if you always respect the people involved).

But.

The toxic part of it relays on the way they treat KM, and separately, Jimin.

As you exemplified, they try to portray Jimin as a bad person. He, in their eyes (and only in their eyes because Jimin IS ADORABLE), is the obstacle of T*K's relationship. Instead of enjoying KM interactions, they belittle them and come up with twisted narratives that prove that "T*K is more real".

What they fail to see (and I'm talking about toxic T*K shippers, not T*K shippers in general) is that, at the end of the day, Tae, Jimin and JK are friends. If they were to stop and rethink their actions, they would understand that by insulting Jimin, they are hurting their beloved idol's best friend.

I am not fluent in Korean (even though I've been a fan of them for four years I'm a failure ) but I guess sometimes it doesn't matter.

I've done my own digging on Twitter afterwards and I've come around some translations of their conversation (credit in the pictures).

It started over the phone. Jimin was feeling shy and awkward (I politely disagree), so he asked JK to come by. This was the beginning of:

So, pretty much, when he first took a look at the photocard his eyes went OJO and his first reaction was to smile. But, trying to conceal it a little bit, he ended up serving us this cute ":]".

If you ask me why, why did he choose to be more neutral in his reaction?

Well, I don't know for sure.

But, if I were to speculate (we love that here), I'd say he's no stranger to every little analysis fans do everytime they react to anything, or, well, let's be real... Everytime they breathe. Taking that into consideration, it's completely understanding if he chose to be lowkey (satellite Jeon forever in our hearts).

And... Well, knowing him and the rest of BTS (Tae was smirking at the corner when he showed the photocard), I'm pretty sure that as soon as they all saw the picture (screeching noises again) they started joking and trying to pose like him. It's something friends do, close friends like them even more so. I'm sure JK was the first one to remark it out loud.

I don't know when or why I got this ask (hi, I'm here again and I think that for a bit longer uwu) but I don't understand the worry behind it.

I have been disconnected from the whole vertiginous universe that is KM (or, well, let's say not as inmersed as I used to), but to me they look the same. Better, to be honest.

Jungkook seems to have become the man he wanted to be. He looks really comfortable in his skin; I'm not only talking about the recent display of tattoos, piercings... but also his complete change of attitude.

Yaaaaas, king, go off!!! (like the cool kids would say... right? RIGHT??)

And Jimin... Well, his journey towards becoming his own self started a little bit earlier than JK's (the little age gap could have a little bit to do with that). I'm loving the way he shows more and more of his feminine side. Long gone are the days of the backward caps and those (quirky? let's say quirky because we love him) clothes. And, honestly? I love it. He seems to be gentler to himself these days.

Together, they act more or less the same since late 2017/2018. I've seen some interesting clips that have made me raise my left brow (only that one, it's impossible for me to lift the other one).

But isn't it normal by now? I think we all are used to them being in their little world by now. And if they don't have the need to post something when they are together, we shouldn't have the need either.

Weird Things Jungkook Does Around Jimin

Catching up with BTS content, I've come across an interesting KM clip: 2019 MMA. (credits to btstella on twt).

The band is exiting the stage; they're exhausted but they still put on their best smiling faces to say goodbye to the crowd. Then, this happens:

It's not unusual, JK gazes at Jimin quite frequently. What makes this whole scenario interesting is what occurs next:

Jinmin gets cozy and I want to cuddle up next to them so bad and JK can't -or won't- stop looking at them.

He practically checks on them every two seconds.

Weird. Right?

Maybe you could think that he is looking at them purposely, because they are being a little too much and he wants to make them a signal to tone it down (let's face it, it wasn't necessary to walked hugging until backstage).

But I don't think that's the case, giving the fact that other members are doing the same thing (Namgi), and he doesn't spare them a glance. His focus is on Jinmin the whole time.

Why? Did he want to be hugged too? Was his purpose to check on his hyungs? Or was he surprised to see them act so openly affectionate in front of everyone?
