InoHima Week, day 5 - Protection, HC’s

I kept it in my head for a while, and this is actually a short version, but whatever… First of all, 95% of the translation is done by an online translator (I wrote this at 4am, I’m not even going to try to translate this better okay)

Rumors of Delta’s invasion of the village and her fight with the Hokage quickly spread throughout Konoha.

Inojin learns from his mother Ino that not only Kawaki was with Naruto at the time of the Delta attack, Boruto and Himawari were there, too.

Ino tells him how Delta tried to use Hima to force Naruto to “open up”.

Inojin’s eyes widen and he swears that he can feel his heart pounding against the walls of his ribs.

Inojin opens his mouth to ask, but the words get stuck in his throat and Ino, thankfully, keeps talking.

«…but this boy, Kawaki, he took the entire blow, lost his arm, but saved Naruto and Himawari…»

Inojin breathes, he didn’t even realize he was holding his breath though.

“She’s fine. She’s safe”

That’s all that’s on his mind right now.

He remembers a small talk he had with Hima the day after Himawari participated in an event organized by the academy that allowed her to try her as shinobi.

They met to draw together that day, which they are known to do quite often.

She told him about her shinobi experience.

«Being a shinobi is so much fun, Inojin-kun!»

«So you want to become a shinobi?»

«Hm, I don’t know yet, there are still so many things I’d like to try, but maybe one day…»

Thinking about it now, after the episode with Delta, Inojin feels something in his stomach begin to twist uncomfortably into a knot.

He doesn’t want Himawari to become a shinobi because shinobi’s life is constantly in danger, and the thought that she might be in mortal danger again, painfully squeezing something in his chest.

Inojin assures himself that he feels this way because she is his friend, siof course he is worried about her, bc that’s what friends do (right? RIGHT?)

like… he worries about Shikadai and Chouchou when something goes wrong during their missions

But deep down, he knows that the way he feels about his teammates and Himawari are different.

And from now on, he really wants to do his best to keep her safe.

Even if he doesn’t realize the truly reasons yet.

Early Mitsucho Monday! Today’s episode had me pumped :A:! Tho, some pieces here I had already done for a while.

25th of January is the year of the rat! I had to make this one! I had fun looking for kung fu poses. Mitsuki’s obviously is a snake posture, Chouchou I was looking for both tiger or leopard but I might be wrong here but the pose might belong to monkey? IDK google was kinda drunk with these references.

Aaand I missed Inohima week completely lmao. I had plans for two comics which I don’t think I will be able to do :_: Maybe in the future.

I was looking for videos on how to paint flowers with watercolors. I’ve been wanting to paint Chouchou with bright red roses since her hanafuda card got them. 

More huggy Mitsuki. In today’s episode, Chouchou makes the remark of “Being chubby is cute” and while everyone was “haha, yeah…” Mitsuki AGAIN is shown smiling at her remark. I’m falling more and more by SP’s elaborated B8

Now this piece is old as heck but I never posted it bc it looked kinda ugly to me? Now that I see it a year later(Not like a whole year, but I actually did this piece last year) Its kinda cute?
