Starting off, i want to say i LOVE the animation, for both the movie and the series. The art was easily my favorite takeaway from the movie, by far. Though the movie plotline seemed rushed, my main grift is that I really wish they gave a better backstory as to why they became ninjas,(I mean, cmon, youtube vids?? 😭). And man, if Splinter isn't Japanese, then why the hell does he have this heavy ass Japanese accent ? ? ? 🥹 Them being ninjas is a huge piece of their identities, and the story behind it was just this dusty fart of an explanation lol

So like going into the series following the movie, my expectations were definitely lowered - but damn it's really entertaining! The undertone gives a mix of 2012 and Rise to give you an understanding -> 12 being angst based, and Rise being comedy based- it's a nice center point, and I've really enjoyed it so far ( ´∀｀ )b I'm only 6 episodes in, but I'm already looking forward to how the next season goes.

He is the most active, lively, and energetic of his three brothers, but ironically, his passionate energy is held back by his heart being exposed in his chest. Even though it has affected his life, his optimistic enthusiasm is always full in his soul.

+ Even though he can be considered a leader because he is a natural born talent, sooner or later that leadership position will not be completely favorable to him.

Hamato Donatello - Tello

- Second oldest

- Age: 17

He is the one with the highest IQ among his three brothers, working logically and scientifically. As the saying goes, smart people always have their own way, their thinking is different from everyone else's and that's why Tello always has extremely erratic personalities, sometimes he becomes irritable, angry and depressed, but sometimes he becomes strangely gentle and passionate.

-Some fun fact:

+ It had been a long time since he had lost his interest in machines and science. The feeling of boredom, lostness, and emptiness had enveloped Tello's head. He buried himself in the lab every second and every minute just to find his original passion again, perhaps that explained why he was always grumpy.

+ He knows how to knit so that he can somewhat soothe his anger

+ Sometimes he wishes he had gun

+ He has a twins

Hamato Lenore - Len

- The second youngest

- Age 15

- Species: red-eared slider

She is the most serious and determined of the three, but she is also the most bloodthirsty. That personality is even more terrifying because of Len's cold calmness. He will not hesitate to massacre his family if anything happens to them.

- Some fun fact:

+ He is transmasc

+ He knows how to bake

+ Len's ability has been with her since she was a child, the voices of the spirits surrounding Len always guided her through words of wisdom drawn from their experiences. But at that time Len only thought that she had a way of thinking faster than her three brothers.

+ Len could have lost her life in many cases if the spirits had not appeared to guide her at the right time.
