#498.5 - Using their powerful sense of smell, Tepig search out berries, which they roast with fire blown from their nose. They don’t yet have perfect control over their flames, causing them to burn berries to a crisp if they get too excited. As Tepig age, their internal flame grows stronger, empowering their physical movements and attacks. The increase in strength allows Tepig to begin standing on two legs, though it takes time for them to maintain their balance while bipedal. When in trouble, they emit a dark smoke from their nostrils.
#499.5 - The more Pignite eat, the more fuel they have to power the fire in their stomach; the excess energy is channeled into fiery combat moves. Pignite will often train with Emboar, learning different punches and mastering how to fight swiftly and robustly. Their training progress can be determined by the size of the flame on their fiery chin; a burly fire indicates they are near both maturity and mastery of their fighting abilities. Despite their love of battle, they care deeply for their friends and have a gentle nature.
Named: Tepig - Scorchog - Pignite - Boarbecue - Emboar

#543.5 - Venipede are impulsive and aggressive Pokemon that possess a wicked venomous bite. By using the feelers on their head and tail, they can pick up vibrations in the air to determine the location and state of their prey. Once located, they leap for their prey without a second thought and inject a paralyzing poison. As Venipede age into Curlipede, they begin to develop a thicker outer shell, which both protects them and weighs them down, slowing their attacks and reactions. In time, Curlipede will begin to curl up, where their expanding armor-like shell will encompass them completely.
#544.5 - Storing energy for the next period of growth, Whirlipede tuck themselves out of sight and wait motionlessly, only expending large bursts of energy when attacked. As they grow stronger and transform within, fissures will develop in their shell, allowing them to unroll themselves and aggressively attack their opposition. By slipping their horns though holes in their armor, the maturing Whirlipede, called Furlipede, are then able to roll back up and rest. They will continue to roll into a wheel-like form when passive until they have grown too large and must live the remainder of their life uncoiled. The vibrant hue that colors full-grown Scoliopede is a warning to those around them.

#083.5 - The stalks of leeks are thicker and longer in the Galar region, causing the Farfetch’d who live there to develop a much stronger frame than their Kantonian counterparts, giving them the strength required to carry their massive leek. Though Galarian Farfetch’d are able to wield their leeks like swords or javelins in battle, the sheer mass of them makes it hard for these Pokemon to fly. They have an honorable, courageous spirit and enjoy battling; only through fighting and striking powerful hits can Galarian Farfetch’d evolve. Their mighty leek is their prized possession, which they use and maintain for years. Once the leaves grow thick and sturdy, they will slice them off and use them as a hard, defensive shield. A fully mature Sirfetch’d is a Pokemon who has experienced and survived many battles; once their leek finally withers, Sirfetch’d will retire from battle for good.
Named: Farfetch’d - Sparfetch’d - Sirfetch’d

#041.5 - Zubat are extremely prolific, and colonies can be found in almost any abandoned building or cave that blocks out sunlight. Naturally nocturnal, these bat Pokemon are sensitive to sunlight, and have evolved without eyes - though with an impressive ultrasonic wave - to masterfully maneuver in the dark. As Zubat age into Vambat, their latent optical genes are reactivated, and they begin to develop new eyes, which further aid in their attempts to find prey. Their four sharp fangs are able to puncture any hide, from which the such as much blood as it can hold. Victims of Vambat attacks are rarely aware that they are being drained of blood, until they begin feeling weak from the blood loss.
#042.5 - Golbat live in immense colonies, where they create bonds through flying and hunting that bolster them through evolution. Captive Golbat, however, have a very different evolutionary spark. Without a colony to support them, captured Golbat look to their trainer to fill that natural void. By forming a trusting and strong friendship, Golbat are able to evolve into Crobat. Despite the naturally dour look on a growing Golbat’s and Crobat's face, these Pokemon are very happy to be alongside their trainer, and are known to be extremely loyal and affectionate.

#582.5 - Vanillite are born from icicles bathing in energy from the morning sun; wishing not to melt, these Pokemon were formed instead. Vanillite need to remain cold in order to keep from melting, and will sleep buried in snow. The cold air they exhale is -58 degrees Fahrenheit, which they use to create snow crystals. As they age into Vanillice and later Vanillish, they gain better control over their icy breath, and will cool down the surrounding air to hide in a swath of ice particles, or to attack and freeze their foes.
#583.5 - Vanillish live in snowy mountains, though they can sometimes be seen further south, though these individuals are smaller than average Vanillish. Hot days cause their bodies to melt, which leaves them vulnerable and weak until they can refreeze. A Vanillelt is born when two Vanillish, half-melted by the day’s light, stick to each other and freeze together in the cold return of night. The two Vanillish will learn to work together to survive, blasting powerful blizzards from their two mouths. They will find harmony as Vanilluxe.
Named: Vanillite - Vanillice - Vanillish - Vanillelt - Vanilluxe

I’m sorry, but this needs to be asked:

When will they get their time in the spotlight? No pressure, I just think we all want to know.
@eggyt23 Thank you for asking about these guys! I haven't forgotten that they need to be done, but admittedly I haven't been prioritizing them. I find Rock-textured Pokémon to be kind of a pain, so I tend to put them off. It's helpful to know there's a demand for them; I'll try to get to this line soon!
#IPPsubmission#IPPasks#eggyt23#speaking of rock-types - the geodude line redo and alolan line are also on my mind; I keep trying to get back into them#someone else asked me about these guys wanting to commission them a long time ago and I lost track of the ask; I'm sorry to that person!

#222.5 - Long ago, Johtonian Corsola were commonplace along Galar’s shores, but sudden climate change caused a new variant to appear that is native only to Galar. These Galarian Corsola have been bleached a ghastly white, and have taken on the Ghost typing. The semitransparent branches that grow from its body are not actually corporeal, and they’re incapable of causing injury or pain. However, if an opponent comes in contact with them, these branches will take root in the victim’s body and absorb its life-force, leaving it unable to move. After continuing to store up the energy they have absorbed from other creatures for so long, Galarian Corsola begin to lose their corporeal body, their spirit energy overflowing and pouring out of their former shell. Those who touch the ectoplasm will rapidly stiffen, making them easy prey.
Named: Corsola - Corpsola - Cursola

#753.5 - Fomantis sleep during the day half buried in the ground, where they spread out their four leaves and bathe in sunlight, soaking up light for photosynthesis. Because of the danger of staying in the same location two days in a row, these Pokemon begin their search for the next day’s spot as soon as the sun sets. For Fomantis, photosynthesis is not just a source of energy—it is a necessity to achieve the strength and brilliant coloration of their evolved form. Photosynthesis is precious to Fomantis, and it will fiercely attack those who get in the way of that process. As they age, their brilliant coloration shifts to become more vibrant and elegant, giving them the reputation as the most glamorous Grass Pokemon. Their bug-like appearance is a ruse for their own protection.
Named: Fomantis - Fleurantis - Lurantis

#725.5 - Litten are solitary Pokémon that do not typically show their emotions; it is advised to not overwhelm them with affection, and to only pet a Litten if you have earned its trust. By grooming themselves, they lick up pieces of their oil-rich, flammable fur, and can use the fur as fuel for fireball attacks. Though they are coolheaded and logical while young, this changes as they age into Pantherm and later Torracat, where their passion for battling begins to show on their face. As they age, Litten begin to develop an external organ, called a flame sac, that can generate heat to match their fervor for battle. Always ready to attack relentlessly, Pantherm strengthen their forelegs so they can dole out powerful punches! [Old Version]
#726.5 - Torracat love to battle, and as their fighting spirit increase, the flames produces within their body burn hotter and hotter, descending down their torso as Heatiger, where it will burst forth from their navel and waist as full-grown Incineroar. Heatiger are extremely eager to learn how to stand and balance on their hind legs in an effort to bolster their fighting abilities; once able to, they get an extreme ego boost. These Pokémon become aggressive fighters, often disregarding the safety of their opponents and onlookers, even sometimes striking the opposing Trainer with attacks! Trainers who raise Torracat into an Incineroar must be cautious of this fact. They also greatly value the attention of the crowd, excitement bolstering their fighting spirit. Despite their ferocity in battle, these Pokémon love the admiration of children and small Pokémon, and are happy to help those weaker then them.

#548.5 - Petilil are gentle Pokemon that can be found in areas with soil that is rich in moisture and nutrients. Though shy, they are known to offer weary travelers and Pokemon one of the bitter leaves from their head, which refresh a tired body and grow back quickly. Petilil spend most of their time among other vegetation in the soil, and will only evolve if they seek out plenty of sunlight - an action that will cause a flower bud to grow on their head. Trainers can use a Sun Stone on their Petilil to simulate this effect and cause them to evolve.
#548.5H - In Sinnoh during the Hisui era, Petilil were highly valued for the medicinal properties of their leaves, while their evolution Lilligant were worshiped due to being one of ten Pokemon who received a blessing from Arceus. Petilil climb high peaks in search of plentiful sunlight, and it is speculated that traversing these mountains covered in deep snow has caused this Pokemon to develop strong legs and evolve into Hisiuan Buddilil, later gaining the Fight-type as Hisuian Lilligant. Unlike the relaxing effect of the Unovian variant, the budding flower of Hisuian Buddilil and Lilligant heartens those in proximity.

#303 Baby - Typically found in caves, Mawile make their nests in dark tunnels, where they lay small clutches of eggs at a time. The parents take turns guarding the eggs, and will raise their young as a cohesive unit the young are able to fend for themselves. Baby Mawile, nicknamed Mawiddle, are born with excellent night vision and a functioning second mouth, formed out of large, steel-like horns on the back of their head. Younglings are picky eaters, so their guardians will feed undesirable food to the big, steel mouth, which can’t taste anything. Mawiddle learn from their parents how to use their non-threatening appearance to make foes underestimate them, before attacking with their gaping jaws.
Named: Mawiddle - Mawile
#303 Mega - Mawile largely live in caves, where they utilize the darkness of their surroundings to ambush prey. They will often stray from their dens for more active hunting, where they lure foes into a false sense of security with their docile-looking face before attacking suddenly with massive jaws. If a Mawile Mega Evolves with the aid of Mawilite, the energy from Mega Evolving will cause an additional maw—actually transformed steel horns and not a genuine mouth—to sprout, dramatically increasing this Pokemon’s defensive abilities. Mawile can control the jaws independently and at will, but the rush of Mega Evolution can cloud their judgment and Trainers should be on high alert around this evolution and their violent, thrashing jaws.
Baby Mawile was commissioned - thanks!

#619.5 - Completely devoted to their training, Mienfoo can often be seen in packs in the morning, slowly moving their body through a series of poses. Due to this, it is said that the form of their kicks and chops differs from pack to pack. While young, they are quick and elegant enough to land many precise moves; however, each blow lacks a lot of power. Meinfoo age slowly, and dedicate all their spare time to preparing their body and mind for the intricacies of combat. By the time they have fully matured, Mienshao can launch into combo attacks that, once started, cannot be stopped. They use the long, sleeve-like tuff of fur they’re grown as a whip-like extension of their arms.

#456.5 - Finneon are ocean dwelling Pokemon. During the day, they swim in the shallows to absorb sunlight with the pink areas of their body; when night falls, they move into the depths where their pink pattern begin to shine, luring in prey. They are a gorgeous underwater sight, with their fluttering fins gaining them the nickname “Beautifly of the Sea.” As Finneon age, they begin to develop the ability to generate their own bioluminence, in turn losing their pink coloration and dependency on shallow waters. Their small chest fins become adept at walking along the seafloor, helping them to avoid detection by predators.

#912.5 - Not originally native to Paldea, Quaxly are earnest, tidy Pokemon, who take everything very seriously. Their feathers secrete a glossy gel that protects their body against water and grime; they are particularly careful to keep the feathered coif of their head slicked back using a rich, moist, cream. Though little, Quaxly posses strong legs that allow them to both swim without difficulty in strong currents and fend off opponents. As Quaxly evolve into Quaxtep, their stoic disposition aids them in their meticulous and consistent training. Quaxtep and Quaxwell will observe the movements of people and Pokemon from various regions and incorporate those motions into their own routines; they will later compete with others to compare the grace and discipline of their kicks.
#0913.5 - Quaxwell’s impressive feathered head coif has impact-absorbing properties, allowing them to hold a low posture and absorb any income blows with their head; however, they feel mentally and physically unwell if their hair becomes messed up, so they will immediately fix it after the battle. Dedicated training will transform Quaxwell’s legs into incredibly strong weapons; it is said that even a light kick from a fully evolved Quaquaval can flip over a truck. As they mature into Quamenco, these Pokemon begin to sprout ornamental tail feathers, which further enhance their dance moves. As Quaquaval, these Pokemon can use specialized organs located at the tips of their tail feathers to spray decorative and deadly “water feathers” during battle. Their dancing movements are said to evoke far-away places and are a mesmerizing sight to behold.

#698.5 - Amaura are ancient, previously extinct Pokemon that were restored from a part of their body that had been frozen in ice for over 100 million years. They adapted to frigid environments, where the lack of major predators allowed them a calm and peaceful lifestyle. Amaura absorb energy from the night sky, a natural process which is vital for their evolution, and use this energy to create auroras in the sky to communicate with other Amaura and Aurorus when separated. They require a cold environment to thrive, and the crystals on their sides stay freezing cold, keeping them cool even in the hottest conditions. As they age, the crystals become colder, capable of expelling frigid air around themselves and enemies.
