I was feeling social today.

Wolves are social creatures that have structured packs of up to 2 to 30, there primary communication tool is howling to communicate that there current location is occupied. They howl towards their team mates as a way of showing affection not anxiety. They do not just howl at midnight but between 7pm and 12am.

My partner and I need some financial help

Hello, I’m Nix, and this post is for my partner and me. I’m 20 and he’s 22, we’re both bi (I’m also pan) and he’s diagnosed autistic and add, I’m waiting to be tested for autism and adhd. We both work and enjoy creating content in our free time. Unfortunately things aren’t going very well for us right now, and although this isn’t something we wanted to do we’re asking for your help.

We’re struggling to find a place live and right now he can’t afford his rent (the prices went up a lot recently with the next tax year, and it’s not big enough for us both so I can’t move in with him).

My partner and I both work part-time jobs; I work 10 hours a week right now and can’t get a new job until I move; he currently works between 24 and 30 hours a week and gets disability payment. Even still, he cannot make his rent (bills are included at his current place, which is why it is so high), which is due on April 30th 2022, and on top of that, he can’t afford much, including food and basic cleaning and hygiene products.

He was going to stay with his sister temporarily after April 30th while we found a place to live, but she passed away suddenly last monday of a suspected heart attack. I currently live 130 miles away with an abusive family, and every penny I have is going towards whatever flat we can get because I need to be out of here. My parents have been abusive for longer than I can remember; they’re homophobic, racist, ableist, transphobic. Any minority they have an issue with, including ones that my partner and I are a part of. They have no issue making this house unsafe for me to be in, regularly insulting me, putting me down for my own decisions, they do not support my current relationship nor any of my choices. I’m not safe living here.

Also with his sister passing I can’t be there to support him emotionally right now because of the distance. We are facing trouble getting somewhere to live because he receives a disability payment (we have currently applied for roughly 15 to 20 different places over the last month and have been forced to up the amount per month for rent due to lack of availability and because we need somewhere to live.) We are still waiting on some places to get back to us but until we know we have to pay his next months rent.

We really appreciate anything you can give, no matter how large or small the amount. Even if people could just share this. We don’t need a lot, just enough to make up what he needs.

Anything extra we receive will be given to my partner’s parents, who are now the carers of their three grandchildren after his sister’s passing. The extra will go towards taking care of the kids, ensuring they have support and what they need, and will also be put towards my partner’s sister’s funeral. Thank you.
