I think it’s funny how there was a good bit where people asked me if I wanted to join in on ic group therapy type serves for twins and like,,,, there is never a scenario where they WILLINGLY get treatment at a mental institution (which every invite was to psych hospital not even just normal group therapy which they are more likely to go to but I digress)

If you go “I can fix her” at Darla she is immediately put off and will not show her real self to you. Not because she’s against help (that’s a whole different discussion) but what most people actually mean by this is “I can make you subservient to me” and that’s actually I giant red flag that gets under her skin I could say more but my break is almost over

"I see." The two respond at once. Speaking just loud enough to be heard before then letting out a small hum. Completely oblivious to the fact they had the same reaction.

The two had only done the base level research before coming here. They had only been Gods for a few years now. Babies compared to all others. Maybe, it was a mistake or pure naivety to even come here in the first place.

Either way, they were probably some of the few Gods on earth yet to really hurt anyone. As he revealed a bit more to them, they were starting to get an idea to why they were really invited here.

They were already not liking the sound of this. It was best not to get wrapped up in others issues. They rather not be pulled into a pantheon and have their identity distorted and changed to fit in. Loosing what little of themselves they had.

"Thanks." Aléx said, slowly, the enthusiasm now completely gone from his voice and face. What replaced it was unease. Well, that certainly put a damper on their mood.

It was a nice day out. Nice enough that when the two see a boat unattended by the river they stole it without a second thought. Andrew rowing slowly, letting the water do most of the work as they were warmed by the sun. Darla meanwhile had her eyes closed as she played a guitar. Humming a song she was making up. Andrew joining her.

PSA: YOU'RE NOT BEING IGNORED.

A major part of the tumblr rp experience is refreshing the dash and see your mutual roleplaying with someone else. Or maybe they're answering asks, reblogging musing posts, making an OOC post here and there. However, there will be times where you are waiting on a plot, an ask, or a roleplay to be responded to and you see your partner interacting or engaging more with other people.

Again, the mind is a cruel thing. Inadequacy, jealousy, general anxieties stem up sometimes, it's part of being human. But what's important is how you act on these emotions. Please remind yourself that sometimes, things take time. Not all plots go somewhere. Sometimes, someone may not be feeling their muse for that rp. Maybe they just got really busy. Thousands of reasons, but none of them have anything to do with how much they like you as a person.

And that's okay. This isn't homework-- People should be allowed to pin down what they want to write and write it as they please. If you really want specific interactions, you can always send ic / anonymous asks to muses. You can make your own starter calls. Please don't put all of your eggs into one basket, as you will come to resent the people who don't immediately refill it. Don't be a goob, you have people who enjoy you AND your writing.

I feel the need to explain the zombie thing bc not everyone has seen the movie I realize. In short she just feels used and kept around for what they can do to her

“I think a parasol would be much more aesthetically pleasing, don’t you?” Perhaps his earlier statement came off as too dismissive. The again he was more or less just annoyed by how quickly he was put on holding duty. He also, just forgotten about the other's sensitivity to the sun. He's met vampires who were bothered by the sun and those who were not. It was hard to keep track at times.

"Well, if you're willing to look the other way I could steal a car real quick. I see a few nice ones out on the streets." He said, looking out. He was serious about the offer but, was willing to brush it off as a joke if Briar wasn't willing.

He makes sure the umbrella was mostly covering Briar as they walked. "I was thinking we could go to a café later... I think a cat café opened up. What do you think?"
