psa that the blog on here @ oscarpenthusiast (oscpenthusiast on twitter) screenshots posts from blogs on tumblr and reposts them on twitter solely for the purpose of mocking them. they've been called out on this behavior repeatedly on twitter and explicitly told it was a breach of fandom etiquette, yet continued to crosspost screenshots on twitter of tumblr blogs (see below the cut for screenshots of (1) their posts on twitter with screenshots of tumblr blogs and (2) another individual on twitter pointing out the problems with their behavior)

despite "apologizing," they still haven't taken the screenshots down. i sent them an ask requesting they take them down and they never responded. i have no faith that they'll stop posting tumblr screenshots on twitter given they've been repeatedly called out on this behavior and their justification has been that they wanted "to have a good laugh and have free will"

PLEASE don’t send this person hate. the only reason im saying this publicly is because people should have the option to block someone who's demonstrated that they have no respect for fandom etiquette. it's blatantly disrespectful toward people on here who (1) lock their blogs, (2) properly tag their posts, and (3) repeatedly ask that their content not be reposted on twitter

also, y'know, you're like farming using other people's content on a platform that's owned by elon musk. which is loser behavior in and of itself

amelia, isn't it deeply unethical of you to screenshot tweets and post them here? aren't you doing the exact same thing?

their twitter is unlocked and publicly accessible and the reason tumblr, in particular, should not be crossposted to twitter is because twitter is a platform that drivers and their friends and families use and we work very hard to avoid having drivers and people they know stumble across rpf and hate content about them. the reverse is not true when posting a twitter screenshot to tumblr, because tumblr is intended to be a fan space for fans
