INSPIRATION EXCHANGE
Inspiration Exchange - Encouraging Active Citizenship is a strategic partnership programme taking place in The Shambles Youth Cafe, New Ross, Co. Wexford, Ireland in partnership with Associazione Culturale Malik, Gavoi, Sardinia.
The project commenced on Sept.1st 2014 and will finish on Dec. 31st. There are 10 young people from New Ross and 10 from Gavoi aged between 15- 18years.
The Project is about creating opportunities for the young people involves, their organisations, their communities and the members of the public they engage. It is about creating spaces for the young people involved to explore their identity, their sense of Global Citizenship and to express concerns and solutions to issues that are important to them.
Its also about participation, challenging negative stereotypes, empathy, understanding and acceptance.
Underpinning all of this.......how can we use our creativity to achieve all of this.
