what do students gain from this
First of all, students will be able to find their passion and using their passion they will be able to figure out what they want to do for their future. Like I said before, my goal is to get students to sign up to this in order for them to get a mentor that will help them get to where they want to be and achieve their dreams.

What are your plans for this organization?
In this organization I plan to help inspire youth to find their passion and use it to make a change in the world. To do this I will try to find mentors for the students that will lead them to the right path for their dream career in order for them to go to college.

Inspire Youth!
Introduction
Welcome! My name is Martha Gonzalez and I am a junior at California Academy of Mathematics and Science School in Carson. I would like to inform the public about the lack of inspiration in teenagers. I am currently part of a group called the Lennox Youth Coordinating Council. In this group we do many things to help our community. For example, we plan college fairs for high school/ middle school students where various colleges came to our community to help these students get a better understanding about each college.
My Experiences
Although I plan educational and fun  events, some don't turn out that way. One day, I was passing out flyers to a group of middle school kids around my community. As  I handed a young teenage boy a flyer, I advised to him  that he should attend the event. After I handed him the paper, he crumbled it up and threw it at me. (This unacceptable behavior is known as apathy). At that moment I realized that not all juveniles care for their future and I asked myself, “Why is it that these juveniles have given up?” I can assume that teenagers are in a stage in their life where they are going through many changes, and some of them deal with them differently than others. A lot of these kids can end up in the wrong path due to these changes. They can also be constantly reminded by their  parents or other adults of what they can’t do instead of what they can do to succeed. But on the contrary, they can do many things they think that they are incapable of. If we, as a community, remind these teenagers of what they are capable of, then they can achieve a greater future.
My goal
How could I help these teens if I’m a teenager myself? I can make a change by inspiring teenagers to do things for their community and their future. As a result, I decided to start a non-profit organization called “Inspire Youth.” In this organization, I will help motivate teens and help them find their passion so that they can grow a healthy and prosperous teen life and to do this I plan to mentor them. I have started this blog to motivate teens but I also plan to raise funds to help them follow their dreams. I know everybody has a dream they wish to achieve and if I can inspire one person, I have made a change.
