Well, there are multiple ways in which Instagram personalities benefit from the platform. Brand deals, followers, etc. Moreover, big influencers make a good amount of money when working with brands. So, they don’t really have to work from 9 to 5 as most people do.

Of course, this is sort of a dream job. So, we want to ask you –  what would you do if you were to wake up one day and discover that your Instagram account was deleted?

So, who is Jessy Taylor? Well, Jessy Taylor is an Instagram personality who became sort of popular due to a video she uploaded to YouTube – crying over her Instagram account being deleted.

Apparently, several people had reported Taylor’s account as spam. This was of course, definitive for Instagram to take action and delete her presence from the platform. Evidently, this came as a surprise for the 21 year old woman, who then decided to upload a video on YouTube crying over the situation.

The Video

On April 4th 2019, Taylor uploaded a video to YouTube titled “Stop reporting my Instagram account.” In the beginning, the video wasn’t getting too much attention. But, it ended up going viral after it began to receive media coverage.

Personally, I found out about it thanks to Yahoo. Now, here’s the thing. The 21 year old made a mistake when she uploaded that video. She made “every day” people feel attacked. 

You see, when she started crying about having lost her Instagram account, she said she didn’t want to work at McDonalds like other people. Moreover, she added some comments that most people didn’t like. 

“I know people like to see me beat down, and be like them, be like the 90 percenters.”  “The people that work 9 to 5.” Naturally, the only thing this video did was outrage thousands of people.

In the video, Taylor admitted to having worked as a prostitute before entering the world of social media, and not wanting to go back to that life. Certainly, this is something we can all understand. However, she made it sound as if there was nothing else she could do to make money. 

She even said “I’m nothing without my following”. So, you can imagine what people had to say in the comments. A hint – they were harsh!

A Second Account

Shortly after the “scandal,” one of Taylor’s fans gave her an Instagram account that she could use. But, only a couple of days later it was also deleted. Evidently, this was caused due to the hatred of people that disagreed with her comments from the last video. 

So once again, Taylor went to YouTube where she expressed her feelings. In the new video, she asked if one of the viewers could get in touch with an employee at Instagram so that her account could be restored.

Incredibly, she received a response and got her problem fixed. As a matter of fact, not only did she recover her second account, but also the original one. Furthermore, the whole controversy she went through made it gain almost 20k new followers on Instagram.

Final Thoughts

So, here’s what I think. Anyone would be upset if they were to wake up one day and discover that the platform from where they make money doesn’t let them log in anymore. 

However, the way in which Jessy Taylor handled the situation was wrong. She had the right to be angry. But, she most certainly didn’t have the right to insult other people. 

Unfortunately, she made a joke out of her social media presence. So many people dislike her now that it’s just difficult to imagine a brand wanting to get in touch with her any time soon. So, let’s just hope she learns from her mistake and tries to be more careful with her words the next time. After all, we all make mistakes. And we all get second chances.

There’s something all social media platforms have in common. Users have the power to like the posts they find. Evidently, liking a post is very easy. Perhaps the easiest thing to do on social media. But, precisely because of how easy this is, users often like posts by accident.

Now, we can always unlike something and act as if nothing happened. But, here’s the thing. Every time we like something on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram, we risk the person whose post we liked getting a notification about it. 

So, let’s say that you were stalking your ex on Instagram. You wouldn’t want them to know that you were looking at their photos because you liked one of their posts by accident, would you?

It is almost like turning off your mobile data. But, with one difference. When you turn off your mobile data, you can still like posts on Instagram. However, when you activate airplane mode on your phone, you can no longer like posts.

Now, there’s one thing to keep in mind. Before you activate airplane mode, make sure to go on whoever’s Instagram profile you want to check out first. Otherwise, turning on airplane mode on your phone will prevent Instagram from loading the posts at all.

So, where’s the benefit here? Well, the good side is that with social media, people can judge the content they see. So, if someone were to find a video of an animal being abused, there is an option to report content like this.

How To Post On Multiple Instagram Accounts At Once

Instagram has recently announced a new feature that’s made many users very happy. Finally, after a long wait, we are now able to post on multiple Instagram accounts at the same time. But, is this helpful in some way?

As a matter of fact, yes, it is. The new Instagram feature was released to help us save time. To put it briefly, we no longer have to switch from one account to another to post our stuff individually. 

Now, here it is how you can post on multiple Instagram accounts at once.

Posting on multiple Instagram accounts at the same time

First of all, understand that this is a new feature. So, it is possible that some users might not be able to use it yet. Still, you can check if the app is up to date and then try what we are about to teach you. This way you will see whether or not you can use this feature yet.

So, to start, simply open up Instagram. Then, tap the plus icon on the bottom bar. This will allow you to either take a photo or upload one already saved in your gallery. Once you have chosen what you want to post, add a filter and tap next.

Instagram is by far the best option when it comes to sharing photos online. Since it was released in 2010, people have not stopped uploading new content every day. Now, Instagram food photos have always been popular. But why?

The reason according to a study

Understanding why people like food photos on Instagram so much has been a mystery for a long time. However, about two years ago an expert in the field of communication and psychiatry, professor John Jemmott conducted a study to help reveal the reason why people are so obsessed with these kind of photos.

In order to make this study successful, 401 participants were recruited. They all had to go through manufactured news feeds where there were 15 food photos and 20 non-food photos.

The idea was to get the participants to interact by liking and commenting on the photos that they thought were most appealing. Of course, this would later reveal the reason why photos of food are so popular.

As expected, food photos ended up winning the contest. People seem to like them more than non-food photos. But why is this?

Well, according to the participants, it all came down to the colours and how good they looked. The study revealed that photos of food are popular because of their aesthetic appeal and the variety of colours.

Why do people feel the need to share food photos?

As much as we would all like to say we don’t care about what other people think about us, the truth is, sometimes we do. Now, why are we mentioning this?

Well, because it turns out that our self-image is basically the main reason why we share food photos (healthy food photos to be more specific).

According to the same study we talked about before, people like and share healthy food photos in order to maintain a positive self-image.

These types of images help others see us the way we want. Finally, by liking food photos we express our values, identities, and in some cases, our desired selves.

Why do people post food photos on Instagram?

Now, we have already uncovered why people like and share food photos. But, we still need to analyze why people take photos of their food before actually starting to eat.

Believe it or not, the reason behind this action can be explained by psychology. According to a study conducted by the San Diego University, food tastes better when you take a photo of it before eating it.

In this study, they recruited a group of 120 participants. They were all given a piece of red velvet cake and only half of them were asked to take photos of it before starting to eat.

In the end, all participants were asked to describe how good the red velvet cake was.

Those who took a photo of it before eating it reported having a better taste of the cake than those who did not take a photo of it before starting to eat.

Final Thoughts

Food is simply amazing. Taking photos of your food before you start eating does not harm others. Therefore, there is no reason why you shouldn’t do it.

If you feel comfortable sharing what you eat, then go ahead, get stuck in! After all, doing so might just make your food taste better.

Instagram only allows users to keep their stories open to the public for 24 hours. Indeed, after that time, they will disappear. But, what happens if you want to keep a particular story for your followers to check later? 

Well, there’s an option for that. And it’s called Stories highlights. So, what is a Story highlight exactly? Well, to put it briefly, a Story highlight is basically a sort of archive where you can store certain Stories that your followers can access at any time. And today we are going to teach you how to create a highlight from scratch.

Creating A Story Highlight

In order to create a Story highlight, you will need to follow these steps. First of all, open Instagram on your phone and go to settings. Then, tap where it says “Privacy and Security” and scroll down until you find the Story control option.

Select it and activate the “Save to Archive” box. This will allow you to archive your stories for you to see at any time. Still, the idea is to get your followers to be able to see your Stories at any time.

Instagram is constantly working on new features designed to improve our experience when using the app. Most of the time, we have to wait until the photo-sharing platform decides to announce such features on their official Twitter page. 

However, this time there has been a leak that reveals a new feature Instagram might be working on. And today we are going to tell you all about it. 

Instagram Public Collections

Apparently, Instagram is working on a feature called public collections. This feature would allow users to create albums where they could save posts they like. They could also tag followers who could add additional content too.

Unfortunately, an Instagram spokesperson has come out to say that there is no such thing as a public collections feature in development. But, when does Instagram openly confirm a rumour that originated on the internet?

Let’s remember that Instagram already has a private collection feature which lets you bookmark content you like, to see it later. Now, if this public collections feature were to actually be released, Instagram would be directly competing with Pinterest. 

How? Well, Pinterest has a very similar option that users love. So, if Instagram implements the public collections feature, Pinterest could potentially lose some users. After all, the photo sharing app is one of the most complete platforms on the market. 

Therefore, adding this feature would only attract more users. 

The Leak

So, who is responsible for releasing this information? Well, we have already talked about her in one of our past articles. The person behind the leak is none other than Jane Manchun Wong. 

The 23 year old computer engineer has become popular on Twitter for uncovering unreleased features on major social media sites. Indeed, Wong’s work has been featured in many articles from very reliable sources. 

Of course, this has led people to believe in what she says. Now, we don’t know whether or not Instagram will actually release the public collections feature. But, to be honest, it wouldn’t hurt if they did. 

After all, it’s a good feature that we’re sure users would love.

This wouldn’t be the first time that Instagram copied a feature from another social media platform. In fact, let’s remember how in 2016 the photo- sharing app introduced stories to the world. This feature was based on the model already used by its competitor Snapchat.

Instagram is perhaps one of the most popular social media platforms in the world. Therefore, it’s not a surprise that giants such as Spotify and Shazam decided to partner up with Insta, and are now working together. 

In other words, the idea of Instagram collaborating with online platforms is nothing out of the ordinary. However, millions of people all over the world were recently surprised to learn that the social media platform made a new partnership with one of the biggest brands on the planet – Samsung.

So, unless you’ve been living under a rock, you probably already know about the new Samsung Galaxy S10. The latest model of the S series from Samsung was released in February 2019. 

Well, it turns out that the $850 phone surprised the world with a very interesting feature. You see, the Samsung Galaxy S10 comes with an Instagram mode built into its camera. But what does this mean exactly? 

To put it briefly, it means that you can take photos from the original S10 camera and upload them directly to Instagram. Certainly something that not many people expected.

The Day Social Media Went Down

Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp Went Down – Then This Happened

There are times when social media platforms start presenting a few problems. Perhaps users can’t log into their accounts, comment on a post, and that sort of stuff. There are always people working hard to make sure that these problems are fixed in no time.

However, in this case, things weren’t like that. You see, on March 13th 2019, three major social media platforms went down – Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp. 

As a result, people from all over the world started complaining about the service. Although the problem didn’t affect the entire world, there were several countries that could not make use of these platforms for over 8 hours.

Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, USA, and some countries in Europe were affected by this mysterious problem.

We all know the Internet pretty well to know that things like this will always have memes. Indeed, users from all over the world started mocking the situation and went to Twitter to post memes about Facebook’s, Instagram’s and WhatsApp’s services being down.

Benefits For Other Companies

Incredibly, the outage of Facebook and Instagram’s services didn’t stop people from finding another source of entertainment. As a matter of fact, many users decided to spend some of their time watching porn while they waited for Facebook and Instagram to be back online. 

Pornhub reported having a huge spike in usage at the time that Facebook and Instagram were down. Somewhere around 80 million more users than normal were active. Moreover, the adult site also reported that people kept searching for the names of the social media platforms on the search bar. 

In fact, the site reported a 221% jump in searches for “Facebook,” and a 323% spike in searches for “Instagram.”

The Reason Behind The Sites Going Down

So, what was the reason behind the outage? Did Facebook make a statement regarding the subject? Well, believe it or not, they did. Initially, people were arguing that the reason behind these social media platforms going down was no other than a Do S attack (Denial of service attack).

Now, what exactly is a Do S attack? Well as Wikipedia would say, a Do S attack is a cyber-attack in which the perpetrator seeks to make a machine or network resource unavailable to its intended users by temporarily or indefinitely disrupting services of a host connected to the Internet.

Of course, these sort of speculations were bad for Facebook. Especially because it put deals with their investors at risk. So, the social media platform decided to make a statement on their official Twitter account the following day. And this is what they said: 

Yesterday, as a result of a server configuration change, many people had trouble accessing our apps and services. We've now resolved the issues and our systems are recovering. We’re very sorry for the inconvenience and appreciate everyone’s patience.

Now, if this were to be true, it would explain why only Facebook owned platforms were affected, and not others such as Twitter or LinkedIn.

What People Think

The opinions on the subject are divided. For example, on one hand,  we have the generation of people who see social media as useless. And on the other hand, we have the generation of people who see social media as an opportunity of reaching success. 

So, for people who find social media to be unimportant, the outage of the platforms’ service wasn’t a big deal. In fact, many argued that this was an opportunity for kids to reconnect with their parents and do things like going out to play in the park, play games etc. 

Now, people who see social media as a necessity saw things from a completely different perspective. In fact, when the services didn’t go back online after a couple of hours, they started to worry. Not because they wouldn’t be able to like a post from their best friend, but because of the limitations they would have to face to grow professionally without social media. In a nutshell, these people were worried during the outage of Facebook and Instagram’s service. 

Mostly, because they know how much they help users all over the world to reach their goals. 

Final Thoughts

We often listen to people referring to social media as a cancer to our society. Moreover, they blame sites such as Facebook and Instagram for making the young generation focus only on that and nothing more. 

However, the truth is that social media does both good and bad. There are of course benefits in using it, as there are also negative aspects. But, overall social media has changed the lives of literally millions of people in the world. 

As a matter of fact, thanks to social media, there are more and more entrepreneurs every day. We have the opportunity to grow our businesses and make our dreams come true. So, we are glad that all three platforms, Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp are back online. And hopefully, this won’t happen again for a long time.

There is one thing that almost all social media platforms have in common. They all give users the power to make something go viral. A challenge, a video, a post – you name it. Indeed, over the past year, many trends went viral on social media. The In my feelings challenge and What the fluff challenge are just two of many examples. 

Evidently, this is something that won’t stop any time soon. So, every year we witness how new trends are born. And today we are here to talk about one of the newest challenges of 2019 – The Baby Cheese Challenge.

The Baby Cheese Challenge – What’s It About?

So, what is this whole baby cheese challenge all about? Well, it’s pretty simple actually. The baby cheese challenge consists of a person throwing a slice of cheese to a baby’s face. Of course, the purpose behind this is to catch the baby’s reaction, and then upload it online. 

The trend first became popular on Twitter, but was then shared on Facebook and Instagram. Certainly, this helped to boost it up to the point of making it become a viral challenge.

On a side note, the baby cheese challenge has become so popular, that even supermarkets have decided to put up signs like the one from the image below to ask parents not to throw cheese at their babies. 

People’s Thoughts

Now, what do people actually think about this? Well, we know for sure that there are people who find challenges just to be stupid. As a matter of fact, they blame it on millennials. 

So, having to hear individuals complaining about social media trends is not uncommon. However, there are old people who see challenges as funny and have nothing against them. But, these same people are the ones finding this trend to be a bad one. 

Of course, there are certain challenges that can only be described as stupid. For example, a person eating cinnamon, or burning their skin with salt and ice and all of that kind of stuff. 

Indeed, people don’t support this, but don’t complain either. Mostly because they know that those who decide to do these challenges are aware of the consequences. But, with the baby cheese challenge, things are different.

People argue that this trend is sort of abuse towards infants. And of course, this has generated a huge debate among the online community. Some users will argue that the challenge is harmless, while others will say that it’s unfair to do this to babies who cannot defend themselves or express disgust.

Variations

The baby cheese challenge has obviously annoyed quite a lot of people. But, as grandma would say, there’s a solution for everything but death. So, what does this mean? Well, it means that even though some people don’t support the idea of throwing a slice of cheese at a baby’s face, they still enjoy doing the challenge. 

However, they do apply a small variation. You see, instead of throwing a slice of cheese at a baby’s face, there are people who opt to throw the slice of cheese at their pets, or even their older friends.

Final Thoughts

From a personal point of view, I think this trend should be seen as just that – a simple trend. It will eventually be forgotten and people will continue with their lives. 

Finally, the debate on whether or not this challenge is harmful to babies will also stop. If you disagree with people throwing slices of cheese at their kids, just ignore them. Don’t do the challenge and wait for it to pass. Let’s just be thankful that this trend doesn’t encourage children to eat cinnamon, or anything silly like that!

How To Authorize Tagged Photos On Instagram

There’s one thing that most people will agree on. Tagged photos are not always perfect. As a matter of fact, the concept of being tagged in a photo has led multiple trolls to create memes regarding the topic.

At present, teenagers take dozens of photos before choosing which one to upload. But, things change as soon as someone decides to tag you in a post where you don’t look so good. 

Unfortunately, when someone tags you on Instagram, the post appears on your profile. So, you are exposed to the eyes of your followers. Luckily, there’s something you can do. And that is to choose which tagged posts can go to your Instagram profile. Here’s how to do it.

Instagram Tagged Posts Authorization

So, it’s all about authorization. While you can’t choose not to be tagged in Instagram posts, you can select which tagged photos go to your profile. All you need to do is to head to the settings menu and follow these steps. 

First of all, go to your profile on Instagram and tap the three lines on the upper right of the screen. Then, tap where it says settings and scroll down to the privacy and security section.  

Under there you will find a bunch of options. Tap where it says photos and videos of you. Finally, just unmark the add automatically option and that’s it. From now on, you don’t have to worry about having tagged posts you don’t like on your profile.

Additional Feature

Also, there is an additional feature under the same “Authorization menu window” that gives you the option to hide posts you have already been tagged in. 

With it, you can select previous tagged photos or videos and hide them from your timeline. All you need to do is to tap where it says “Hide photos and Videos” and select whichever post you want to hide. 

That’s it, you are now in control of the content that appears on your profile.

How to post on Instagram from your computer

There was a time when people had to log in to their social media accounts from their computers in order to be able to upload a photo or share a thought. For example, back in 2004 when Facebook was released, the only way one could access it was through a computer. 

In fact, most social media platforms before Facebook required users to do the same thing in order to post something. Then, in 2010, when Instagram was born, things changed. 

First of all, Instagram entered the market of social media as an app. Therefore, it was no longer necessary to use our computers to upload a photo or share a thought. As a matter of fact, we could now do everything from our phones. 

Still, over time Instagram would become one of the most popular apps in the world. So, the leading team decided to implement a web version of the platform as well. 

At present, there are quite a few things we can do on Instagram from our computer. For example, we can check our friends’ stories, follow people, comment on photos and more. Unfortunately, there is no a direct way to upload a photo using a computer. Still, that doesn’t mean it’s impossible. 

So, keep reading because we are about to show you how to upload a photo to Instagram from your computer. 

What you need to do

First of all, you will want to open up your browser and access Instagram. Second of all, you will need to right-click the page and select where it says Inspect. Doing so will open a sort of sidebar in which there will be lots of codes and links most people don’t understand. But, don’t worry, no one is hacking your computer. 

Then, at the very top of the sidebar you will find two icons. Select the one of a tablet to change the site to mobile view. 

Finally, just click the plus icon at the bottom and you will be able to upload a photo without having to use your phone. 

Note

There is a small chance that you won’t be able to access the bottom bar from where you can upload photos. However, there’s nothing to worry about. In fact, all you need to do is simply refresh the site and it will appear.

Instagram Or Travelling For Free – Make Your Choice

Instagram is currently the second largest social media platform in the world. As a matter of fact, there are already a billion monthly active users enjoying the photo-sharing app every day. 

Some of these users are very accustomed to checking Instagram quite often. Therefore, getting them to simply forget about the app and clear all of their content is nearly impossible.

Indeed, asking a person to clear all of their memories from Instagram is very hard. But, what if these people were offered something in return. Certainly, a nice compensation could seal the deal. Perhaps travelling for one year, for free? 

It sounds good, doesn’t it? All you would’ve needed to do is clear every single post from your Instagram account. 

Before We Start

Unfortunately, the application period for this contest has already expired. Therefore, the following information is merely a resume of what users had to do in order to win the opportunity of travelling for free for a full year.

So, what did one have to do to win a year of free flights? Well, there were two very simple steps to follow. First of all, users needed to clear their posts from Instagram. Now, notice that we are using the term clear.

This means that there was no need to delete the posts, but to just archive them. Finally, the applicant would have also needed to create a post promoting the airline, and upload it to the photo-sharing platform using a hashtag (#ALLYOUCANJETSWEEPSTAKES ). 

And that’s pretty much it. These two steps would have made you eligible for winning the prize.  

The Catch

Unfortunately, there was a catch. The three lucky winners of the contest would indeed be able to travel without having to pay for tickets. However, the downside is that they would still be liable for individual taxes and fees on each flight.

In other words, the flights are not entirely free per se, but rather very cheap.It’s still a pretty good deal considering applicants only needed to clear their posts from their Instagram accounts. 

Note

JetBlue never specified the reason why they asked people to clear their Instagram posts. As a matter of fact, the company made it clear that users could put their photos back on their profiles after the contest was over. 

So, let’s just assume this was all about publicity. Also, let’s hope they decide to launch the same contest next year!

I Bought “REAL” Instagram Followers And This Is What Happened – Part 3

Can you buy real Instagram followers? That is the question many people all over the world ask. At present, waiting to grow organically on Instagram is not always the best option. Therefore, some people opt to buy their way into fame online.

But does it really work? Is it possible to buy real Instagram followers online and become famous within a matter of days? Well, during the past few days I’ve been trying to figure this out. Of course, in order to do so, I bought followers from online platforms. 

Unfortunately, it all ended up being a waste of money. (You can read more about that clicking here). Nevertheless, I am willing to try and find a legit site from where I can buy real followers one more time. So, let’s get started and see what happens. 

Buy Insta

This time I will be buying followers from a site called buyinsta.online. Just like the other sites that I have tried, “Buy Insta” does also claim to deliver real Instagram followers. 

The process is simple – you select a package, enter your Instagram username, and select your preferred payment method. Fortunately, the site accepts PayPal. So, you don’t have to worry about entering your credit/debit card information if you don’t want to. 

Finally, you just have to wait a few minutes and see how your followers grow. Or at least, that’s what the site says. I am about to find out by trying it myself. Of course, as always, I will start with the smallest package ($2.00 – 100 followers)

Results

I have now paid for my order and received what I asked for. However, I still need to review some aspects of my purchase. So let’s go over that and see whether or not this website is worth the time and money. 

Time of Delivery

Surprisingly, this website ended up being the fastest of all. As a matter of fact, it only took them 3 minutes and 24 seconds to deliver the agreed number of followers. 

Yet, I feel that the real time of delivery would’ve been different if I had stopped the timer the minute I stopped getting new followers. You see, to make this as fair as possible, I stopped counting after I reached the 100 new followers (which was the original package I bought) .

However, the follower count continued to grow for a few seconds after that. Either way, “Buyinsta” has proven to be the site with the fastest delivery of all.

Followers

For some reason, the time it took this website to complete my order made me feel like once again, I was going to get nothing but bots. Unfortunately, I was right. Soon after getting all my new followers, I decided to check out some of their profiles. 

Incredibly, I found many followers with an actual profile pic. At first, I got excited. Could this be the website that I had been looking for? Did I actually buy REAL followers? 

Well, the sad truth is that I got excited about nothing. As I began to scroll down, I realised that all of my new followers were bots. For the second time, I couldn’t find one single real profile that I could follow back and send a message to. 

And those profiles with a picture that got me excited? Well, they were fake too. So here I am, disappointed at this website. Definitely not in the mood to do the interaction test. Mostly because I already know that not one of my new followers is going to react to anything I post. Still, I’ve decided that I’m gonna give it a try. 

Interaction

Indeed, just as I thought, none of my new followers reacted to the last post I decided to upload. This time I posted a picture of a dish called tacu tacu. Instead, I got 4 likes from people who don’t follow me on Instagram but who have actual real accounts. 

Once again, these likes were obtained organically thanks to the right use of hashtags. So, long story short, you can’t really expect to get interaction from the followers you buy if they are not real in the first place. Makes sense, right?

Final Thoughts

After testing three different websites, I have come to the conclusion that buying followers online won’t always reach your expectations. I am sure there are platforms out there that do actually get you real followers, such as Instafamous.Pro. But for now, I cannot give a completely positive opinion about the ones that I have tested. 

Moreover, the fact that these sites claim to deliver “Real Followers” is outrageous. Mostly because they trick you into giving them money for what ends up being a bunch of bots. Unlike real active accounts, bots are nothing but a number in your Instagram profile that will never engage with your posts.

In other words, you can’t expect to get comments nor likes. Now, if you are really looking to grow on Instagram, there are many ways in which you can do it organically. As a matter of fact, if I have learned something testing the websites I used for this experiment, is that hashtags help you to get discovered. 

So, start by using that and then continue to look for new ways to grow on Instagram organically. The results may be better than you think.

I Bought “REAL” Instagram Followers And This Is What Happened – Part 2

Instagram is one of those platforms where anyone can grow and succeed. Last time, I did an experiment to see how effective it was to buy followers online. Unfortunately, the results were not what I expected. As a matter of fact, I ended up getting a pig in a poke. (You can read the article by clicking here)

However, there are tons of sites online from where one can buy Instagram followers. So, I will try to do the experiment a second time and see what happens. 

Instashop

This time I will be testing a different website called Instashop.today. Similar to the one I tried the first time, Instashop also claims to deliver “REAL” Instagram followers. 

The website is secure and they accept pretty much any type of payment. As a matter of fact, not only can you pay with a credit or debit card, but also with Paypal and even Crypto Wallet.

So for this review, I will buy their smallest package ($1.99 – 250 followers) and see what happens.

Results

I have now bought the 250 followers that this website promises to deliver. But, I am yet to review the results and see whether or not I got “real followers” for the price I paid. So, let’s examine a few aspects of their service and determine how effective this website really is.

Time of Delivery

First of all, let’s talk about the time it took for “Instashop” to deliver the agreed number of followers. So, unlike the first website I reviewed, Instashop didn’t give me an estimate of how long I would have to wait before getting my order. 

Therefore, I decided to buy blindly and wait for as long as I had to. However, as soon as I paid for the service, I was informed that it could take up to 48 hours before processing the payment and delivering my order. 

Initially, I thought, okay this might be good. Maybe if they are going to take this much time, then I will probably get actual real followers. Either way, I decided to start my stopwatch and proceeded to refresh my Instagram profile every 30 seconds. 

I was convinced nothing was going to happen for at least a few hours. But, I was wrong. As a matter of fact, the minute I refreshed my profile, my number of followers started to grow. 

Evidently, this meant that I would get my order within a few minutes. So, I just sat for a while and waited patiently. Eventually, I received the number of followers I was promised and stopped the stopwatch. The exact time of delivery ended up being 13 min and 54 seconds.

This was almost double the time it took for me to receive my followers from the first website I reviewed. But to be fair, this time I was paying for almost double the followers that I bought the first time. So, I guess there’s nothing to complain about here.

Followers

Now let’s talk about the most important aspect of all – followers. Did I get real followers as this website promised? Well, much like the site I reviewed before this one, the answer is no. I didn’t get real followers from Instashop either.

However, I did receive more bots than I asked for. You see, at this point it’s pretty easy to know when you are getting bots rather than real Instagram followers. And as I expected, that’s basically what I got –  a bunch of bots. 

But then again, I got an increased number of those bots than I expected. Initially, the first website I reviewed landed me 121 fake followers. But, over the days that number decreased to 103.

So, since I bought 250 “real” followers from this new site, (Instashop), I expected to only have 353 followers in the end. Instead, that number went up to 370. 

Unfortunately, this will not benefit me in any way. After all, I just received a bunch of bots from another website claiming to deliver real Instagram followers.

Now, just as I did with Famoid, I also tried to find at least one authentic account that I could follow back and send a message. The overall idea was to ask that person how he or she decided to follow me.

But, this time, I didn’t have any luck. In fact, the more I scrolled down, the more I realised that I had just been played. None of the accounts following me were actually real people. So, with nothing more to do, I decided to move to the next step of this experiment and test the interaction. Here’s what happened.

Interaction

So, in order to test whether or not my new “real followers” would interact with my content, I needed to post something new. And so I did – I opened up Instagram on my phone and selected one of the food pics that I have stored in my gallery. This time, I chose to post a Peruvian traditional dish “Causa Rellena.”

Finally, I added a filter and wrote some tags. Now, it was just a matter of waiting. Sadly, an hour went by, but none of my new followers seemed to be interested. 

Instead, I got a couple of likes from people who found my post through the hashtags.

Final Thoughts

There was nothing indicating to me that the results from Instashop would be different from any other website that sells followers. Still, I decided to try their service and came to the conclusion that it’s not worth it. 

Once again, I received bots that will not do anything other than just make my profile look a bit more “popular.” Also, as I waited for an hour to see if someone interacted with my new post, my follower count decreased from 370 to 355. 

In a nutshell, the website kind of does what it promises to do, but not in its totality. On one hand, they do give you the number of followers you pay for.

But on the other hand, those followers are not actually real. So, if you were to ask me: Should I buy followers from this website? My answer would once again be a simple NO.

I Bought “REAL” Instagram Followers And This Is What Happened – Part 1

At present, there are millions of influencers all over the world. Evidently, they are extremely popular thanks to their large number of followers on social media. But, how is it that they have so many fans on Instagram and similar platforms? Is it that easy to start building a presence on these sites?

Well, it depends. Some people are lucky enough to grow organically in just a short period of time. Unfortunately, this is not the case for all of us. In fact, a regular person has to put in some time and work before starting to gain their first few followers. And not everybody is willing to wait for too long.

So, is there a way to speed up the process? What about buying followers online? Well, it is an option. Still, there’s a lot you should consider first. For example, buying followers online presents some risks. Most sites will just sell you bots (click here to learn more about that).

Nevertheless, I am willing to find out by myself how effective using this method actually is in order to grow on social media. Of course, in this particular case, we are going to focus solely on Instagram. But, wait a second, I’m not just going to buy any kind of followers, I’m going to buy “REAL” Instagram followers. At least, this is what some of the sites I will use claim to sell. So, let me explain to you a little bit about how this experiment will go.

Buying Real Instagram Followers – What You Need To Know

First of all, you need to know how this is going to work. I will be testing three different websites that claim to sell real Instagram followers. To do so, I have created a new Instagram account that you can check out by clicking here.

This account will have food-related posts and nothing but a few hashtags and brief descriptions. This way, I will see whether or not the followers I buy interact with my posts. Finally, this experiment will be divided into three parts. In each one, I will evaluate a number of different factors. For example, the time it took for each site to deliver the followers, the authenticity of the accounts, and so on. So, now that you know what this is all about, let’s get started.

As you can see, the account has 0 followers and just one post. Now, let’s see what happens after I buy some followers online.

Famoid

The first website that I will try is called Famoid. It claims to deliver real and active followers, providing instant delivery. The server connection is secure and you can pay with either a debit/credit card or PayPal. In, this particular case I will buy the smallest package ($2.95 – 100 followers) and see what happens. 

Results

I have now bought the hundred followers package and I got results. So, does this site gives what it promises? Well, technically they do. However, there are a few things to consider. Here’s how effective it was to buy followers from Famoid.com 

Time of Delivery

The site states that it takes up to 5 minutes to receive the number of followers you bought. Of course, results may vary from time to time, which is exactly what happened in this case. As a matter of fact, I had to wait exactly seven minutes to receive the one hundred followers that I bought. 

Finally, one thing to note is that you don’t get all of the followers at once. Instead, they start to appear little by little as the minutes pass. 

Followers

After waiting for 7 minutes, I got what I was promised. In fact, Famoid ended up giving me more than one hundred followers. To be more accurate, I got 121 followers for the inexpensive price of $2.95. However, for some reason, I lost 2 of those followers in the next half hour. 

Still, I got more than what I asked for. That’s good, right? Well, in a general scenario it would have been something good. Unfortunately, I have to say that this was not the case. Let me explain why. 

First of all, I did receive the followers that I was promised. So, in a way, Famoid did its job. But, here’s the thing – after seeing how my number of followers went from 0 to over 100, I decided to check a few of the profiles of the people following me. And this is what I found. 

As you can see in the above image, most of my followers don’t have a profile picture. Therefore, I decided to investigate a bit more and went on to some of their profiles. I then discovered that most of the people following me don’t have any posts nor profile pics.

Some have private accounts, and just a very small number of them have a few posts with tags and descriptions. At this point, I was sure I paid for bots. But, I decided to give Famoid one more chance and followed one of my new followers back. The reason? Well, I wanted to send a message to a fellow user and see if I got a reply. 

Now, the person I decided to follow back was one of the very few whose profile looked authentic. I mean, she had quite a lot of posts, comments, tags, likes, and more. So, I went on to DM her and explained that I was doing an Instagram experiment. But, despite her being active liking posts from other people, I never got a reply. 

Interaction

It has been an hour since I bought the package from Famoid. Unfortunately, there have not been any interactions yet. The one post my new account has only got two likes and one follower before I bought the service Famoid was offering. 

But to be fair, I only bought followers. So, technically I am not supposed to receive likes or comments. However, from the number of people that follow me now, at least one should have noticed my post, right? 

Sadly, it doesn’t seem to be the case. But, I’m not here to give up that easily. So, what I am going to do is upload a new photo and wait another hour to see if I get any likes or comments. 

I have now waited for one extra hour since I posted the last photo. But guess what? Once again, no one reacted to my post. At least, no one from my list of new followers. This time, I posted a photo of a traditional Mexican dish, tacos. But, that’s not all. As a matter of fact, not only did I post the photo, but I also tagged one of my new followers.

My hopes were to at least make this person wonder as to why I tagged her in the first place. Unfortunately, I didn’t catch her attention. Instead, the hashtags I used for this post landed me a like from a taco related Instagram account that doesn’t follow me, and a few other accounts that don’t follow me either.

I got those 4 likes thanks to the hashtags used. Sadly, I never got an interaction from the follower I tagged.

Final Thoughts – Real or Not?

After a few hours, I came to the realisation that this is just another case of a site that gives you bots as followers. On one hand, I received the number of followers that I was expecting.

On the other hand, I didn’t benefit from it at all. No comments nor likes from my new followers. Finally, almost 95% of them don’t have any content on their profiles. The accounts that do have some sort of content have barely any interaction. 

To put it briefly, if someone were to ask me whether or not this site is worth it, I would respond with a simple NO. Keep an eye out for the next part of this experiment!
