The pad can be rinsed or changed repeatedly. Because of the low moisture content, this method can dry very quickly. It does a good job cleaning the top third carpet pile. It does not remove the heavier grit or sand that can damage carpet over time. There is not much deep cleaning because there is neither extraction nor flushing.

5. Dry compound:

This method allows you to spread a dry absorbent compound with solvent and detergent evenly on the carpet. Then, use a machine to work the material into the pile. Carpet is left clean and dry immediately after dirt and grime are pulled to the absorbent dry substance. This method is the fastest to dry and can be used almost immediately after cleaning. Dry compound cleaning is similar to Bonnet but does not remove heavy soils from the carpet's base.
