what are you guys thinking about rn me personally im thinking about how espresso and so high school coming out within just over a week of eachother is really showing how it truly is just taylor everyone hates - its not the songwriting style itself. i have seen ONE person and its a MUSIC CRITIC say anything about the lines "i know i mountain dew it for ya" and "switch it up like nintendo", and everyone else ive seen is calling it the song of the summer. but exactly Everyone And Their Mothers has decided to be pressed about "touch me while your bros play grand theft auto" its just. this is nothing new, everyone knew about the (often hypocritical, as theyll turn around and love a song with the exact same songwriting style) hate taylor gets in her songwriting most times, but this has really truly solidified it for me as a fan of both artists
