GRAPHIC DESIGN: Index of Happiness Infographic
Software: Adobe Illustrator CS6
This was made to fulfill one of the labworks’ take-home task. We were made to seek for some valid statistical data and represent it in a form of an infographic. I was looking up unsusual valid data and turned out picking over the “Index of Happiness” afterwards. Fortunately, I brought this infographic to their attention and it ended up being one of those having the best both valid information and graphic design.

Software : Solidworks 2012
The design of the product was developed in 2015 by a team introduced as Injury Team. The team consisted of 3, including me. There were 2 of my friends, Devi Julietta Nainggolan and Naufal Fahrudin. The product design itself was aimed to fulfill a competition regarding product designs, INDISCO 7. The occasion was held by Diponegoro University and carried along with the theme “Children’s Product”.
Injury Team made a way to develop a children’s portable desk which you can look into the link above for detailed functions.
That was the first time I finally had a breakthrough in product design field. Although we did not make it to the TOP 15, I’ve got a lot of lesson-learned along with a new way of thinking ever since.

GRAPHIC DESIGN: Low Poly Portraits

I tried out this so-called Low Poly artwork for the sake of my close friend’s birthday in 2015, as you can have a look at the first picture. I did not have any chips left just to buy her a sweet gift HAHAH so I came up with this one. I started to learn how to trace the original picture and transform it into a low poly artwork within 2 days before her birthday. I worked on it while we were once on the insternship duty at PT Telkom Indonesia. Turned out that she liked my work, afterall.
The second picture went to an errand by one of my seniors. He is actually a friend of the girl that I mentioned above. He basically asked her to figure out that I could make a low poly artwork for his girlfriend’s birthday. One of the difficulties in working on that was the low-resolution of the original picture, so it was very hard to trace the details.
I voluntarily offered to make (again) a low poly portrait for a graduating senior back in 2015. It was one of my seniors in Languange Laboratory I was working at. When I got the original picture, I was taking one thing into account, of how I could make a graduation remark, so I ended up looking for a random graduation cap picture and put it on the original picture. The low poly thingy was kind of a new thing to the rest of the assistants so they really supported me to give it a go. Everyone was delighted.

GRAPHIC DESIGN: Research Group Module Cover

This one was published along with the research group module, highliting design skills using softwares mentioned on the cover.
Furthermore, the work was the exact second time I used Adobe Illustrator and started to get interested in it.
In all of honesty, this was not my best shot since I made the way to work on it only within a night, so yeah, you name it.

My very first try in using Adobe Illustrator CS6. I convinced myself to have the first go with an Infographic and turned out it was not that bad. It still needed a little touch of finishings and blank space considerations just to make it precise and neat.
I basically started to seek tutorials of being an Illustrator Dummy through YouTube and I’ve made it all the way ever since.
