it could also double as sex and sexuality becoming sterile to him, no longer interesting and simply a professional requirement rather than an interest or joy. His experience of sex is dulled and muted and it becomes a part of his work where he is only seeing the worst sides of it. Whereas in the army he is proved to have felt at home perhaps seeing the best of people or feeling that he is saving those around him, while he worked with sherlock he saw the amazing life in sherlock and was only ever focused on the death of others. This all allowed him to go on living his own life.
Yâall know in season three when John is in his doctorâs office and all the patients have issues to do with their genitals? Well, Iâm not sure if he works specifically in gynaecology/urology, but either way, this could represent that following his change of profession he is not only repulsed by things to do with sex but sex/sexual health/genitals are becoming somehow diseased or infected by whatever is happening in his life(his relationship with Mary perhaps? his rejection of his feelings towards Sherlock?) Anyway might look into this later but I am currently working on some stuff to do with a different aspect of the show so here is this.Â

Iâm sure someone has already mentioned this but johns moustache is facial hair kinda like a beard, while mary is quite literally his beard(a woman he has romantic relationships with to deflect question away from his own sexuality) so when he shaves for sherlock he is actually breaking ties at least to some extent with mary and he is distancing himself from the heterosexual view of him to allow the world to see the love between himself and sherlock. i dunno its late

How Moriarty âFakedâ His Death (It IS Twins)
Okay. So as some of you may know, in the original Holmes books, Professor Moriarty has a younger brother named Colonel James Moriarty. He was a stationmaster.
In BBC Sherlock, Moriarty has a brother who was also a stationmaster, although his name and age were not mentioned.
In The Final Problem, Eurus plays clips that Moriarty recorded for her before he died. We know this because Eurus plays them for Sherlock, John, and Mycroft when trapped in Sherrinford. During the flashback from 5 years ago in the episode, Mycroft tells Moriarty that he is allowed 5 minutes of unsupervised conversation with Eurus, and though we donât know what they talked about, we know somewhere in those 5 minutes Moriarty agreed to record them for her. We still donât know how he got them to her, how he knew what to say, etc.
Of course the trio is taken aback from seeing Moriartyâs face on a screen. After all, Sherlock saw him blow his own brains out. John asks him, distraught:

To which Eurus responds:

But what she says directly after is something I hadnât noticed up until the most recent time I watched this episode:

NOW. We know that Moriarty has a brother that was a stationmaster. No more assumptions here. This was ACTUAL CONTENT in the show. But we DONT KNOW his name, age, what he looks like, etc. And just because he was younger than Professor Moriarty in the canon doesnât necessarily mean that Moftiss has to follow this rule in their adaptation. Iâm saying this because the phrase âIts never twinsâ is brought up multiple times throughout the show.
Sherlock says it to John in The Six Thatchers when working on the case called âThe Duplicate Manâ after he thinks thatâs what Johnâs come to the conclusion of, and again in The Abominable Bride. Watson says, âHolmes. Could it have been twins?â Holmes tells him it couldnât, so Watson asks him why, provoking Holmesâ âBecause itâs never twins.â
Popping up only once in the show might cause it to have no significance, but since itâs popped up more than once, especially regarding a case that was being related to Moriartyâs (Emelia Ricolettiâs case) could mean something. Once is a coincidence, but twice is a pattern. And what do we say about coincidences, especially ones that are written my Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss? Maybe the reason the writers keep bringing up the fact that Sherlock never even considers twins to be a possible solution to Moriartyâs case is because it actually is the solution. Which leads me to my next point.
Shortly after Eurus mentions Moriartyâs brother being a stationmaster, Sherlock, John, and Mycroft are taken to the next task in another room, and during the transition Eurus plays another of Moriartyâs clips:

How obvious can they be? Moriartyâs brother was a stationmaster, as said by Eurus herself, and here we have Jim Moriarty, (or his twin brother) saying âAll aboard!â and making freaking train noises.
All Iâm saying is, it had to be either Jim or his twin that was on that rooftop in Reichenbach; one of them shot himself, and the other is still out there. But the question is, which Moriarty is it?

Shapes for Holmes and Watson are always the same, no matter the universe...
Holmes is always all triangles, a sharp, pointed face, pointy shoulders, lean and tall with very long, slim legs. Heâs all bones and wiry muscle, every part of him as sharp as his wit. Watson is almost the exact opposite. A rounded square for a head, BROAD shoulders, stocky, wide chest, maybe a bit of extra weight. Arms are well muscled, legs are stockier than Holmes at least and heâs of average or slightly below average height.Â
The below is obviously stylized, slightly exaggerated and simplified.

Just wanted to try adding more to the basic shapes and giving them some Victorian-esque clothing. Still worksâŚ

Examples:
Granada Holmes (Holmes and Watson)
The Great Mouse Detective (Basil and Dawson)
House MD (House and Wilson)
BBC Sherlock (Sherlock and John)
The exception, of course, is RDJ Sherlock, because Robert is tiny and does what ever he wantsâŚ

So i was trying to see if sherlock season 5 was actually happening and of course all i got was cryptic answers from the internet. However i did find that there had been a change from the norm in the way that the seasons are being presented at least on Australian youtube. Now what could this mean? I have no idea, however iâm wondering if this is a hint at the way that the next season will happen. Could it be prequel to season âfourâ? maybe we go back to pre EMP? there are many possibilities i just thought it pertinent to put it here.

Molly houses were used to refer to places of prostitution particularly where men could meet. It comes from an interesting bastardised version of the virgin mary, Molly being a derivative of the name Mary. Mary has of course also become a way to refer to fey or effeminate men. I need to do a little more reading, I have a book specifically on queer history in london that Iâm only maybe half way through but this is definitely a big part of it.
OK. WHO THE FUCK ?!?!??!
Who the fuck was going to tell me that âMollyâ yes fucking Molly,, is a term used to describe an âeffeminateâ man that originates back to mid 18th century and early 19th century. What the fuck. I am not lying.

UM. YEAH. THIS PROBABLY ISNâT THAT GROUNDBREAKING, BUT JUDGING FROM SOME POSTS DISCUSSING HOW MOLLY IS A FEMALE JOHN MIRROR (HOW SH/ERLOLLY WOULD BE BASICALLY STRAIGHT JOHNLOCK),,,,,, AAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGHHH
goodbye going to spontaneously combust now.
someone pls reblog/reply to this, Iâd love to hear your thoughts on this.
