the way benedict’s eyes are twinkling in the new sneak peek is everything to me. you can see the emotions so clearly with no dialogue and it is breathtaking — benedict sees his lady in silver appreciating the beauty of something so many women of the ton have never stopped to admire (the chandelier) and he is immediately spellbound…i’m so ready for this love story to come to life oh my goodness

proud member of mouri ran deserves better club. there r lots of things I wish she had but first and foremost r adults in her life who actually put her first. like im sorry her parents may love her but they do NOT care for her. why is my girl entirely self sufficient as a 17 year old when both her parents r present and alive. even worse why is she actively looking after her father, a grown adult man, and why does her mother never see her, despite ran clearly craving a closer bond. like separation is not an excuse to just not parent at all

and on the topic of parenting why is she being forced to mother conan when she is also a child. like sure it’s for the plot but she does basically all day to day stuff on her own when she shouldn’t have to. where is the adult support system she should have access to. why is the closest person she can rely on agase hakase, a creepy scientist, and even then only for babysitting. which doesn’t even count bc the fuck shoved conan onto her in the first place. honestly if i was ran and the fuck was like oh nooo I can’t look after children take this child please, and then goes and adopts a child like 2 weeks later I would’ve lost my shit

like not to agree w a member of the black organization but ran truly is an angel bc not only does she put up w it, she’s actively kind and lovely while she does it

but also the entire bus stop scene is just so sweet and cute. like do won purposefully waited at the hospital for her so they could go home together. he wanted to spend more time with her so he didn't bring his car. he was so happy to hear that it turned out to be a team dinner instead of a date. he thought yi-young was making a move by telling him to be more romantic and he finally admits that he's been "thinking about her a lot" and he considered doing coupley things with her, but it turns out that she was just waiting for a spot on the bench (lol). out of the two, do won is definitely more of the romantic.

in ep. 6, when yi-young swears and gu dowon teases her by saying "I guess you don't like me anymore" is so funny because it's so clear that he's being sly about his feelings, knowing that she'd stand up to reaffirms her feelings for him again.

he smiled, turning his face away from her. he clearly likes it when she's so honest but regains his composure when he asks yi-young to swear again (after she said that she's the type to still swear even in front of people she likes) showing that he finds it attractive. he moves closer to her when she does and it's the first time we see the both of them laugh at the same time.

then the camera pans up to show the both of them sitting alone at the playground, surrounded by trees, in their own world, is just so cinematic.

Musicals are time loops. Every night, the same thing happens except for a few minor differences. It always ends the same. If you want the characters to do something different or to make better choices, too bad. The actors are bound by the script and the score. The only way for the time loop to end is for the show to close. But you (the audience) don't want the show to close, nor do the actors who would like to be employed. It's a lose/lose situation. For the actors, audience, technicians, and for the characters, who are forever stuck in the same stretch of time.

him immediately telling her the plan before anyone else and her being up for it because he can count on her. i love how she doesn't even ask for the whole story, like who the culprit is, because she trusts him.

also that side eye from her at the last panel lol

at the end of the chapter, he said that he picked her because he can depend on her to get the job done out of everyone there, which is such a compliment to her acting skills, considering he was raised by a professional actress.

i just know he is so going to miss her if she leaves at the end of the series.
